Willis, Taylor, & Podbesek and team now practice under the name Willis & Associates Family Dentistry. We've been serving Staunton, Waynesboro, and the surrounding Shenandoah Valley VA with gentle, family-friendly dentistry for over 40 years. Our team of dentists practice a full range of general and cosmetic dentistry with expertise ranging from porcelain veneers to dental implants, crowns and bridges.

Meet Dr. James Willis Report

Dr. Willis is no stranger to the Blue Ridge and neighboring Appalachian Mountains. Born and raised in Charleston, WV, Dr. Willis has spent his entire life living in Virginia and West Virginia. For the last 9 years the Willis family has lived in Crozet, Virginia.

Interestingly enough, through a recent Ancestry DNA test, Dr. Willis traced his roots back to a genetic community called the "early Appalachian settlers" and one of the family patriarchs, Henry Willis, called the greater Charlottesville VA piedmont area home.His pathway to a career in dentistry began when he was 12 years old, Dr. Willis went through four years of comprehensive orthodontics.

Meet Dr. Esra Salihoglu-Yener Report

Dr. Esra Salihoglu-Yener was born in Istanbul. She has a Dentist degree from the University of Marmara in Istanbul. After graduation from the Dental School in 2004, she had worked as a Research Fellow and Resident at the University of Yeditepe in Department of Prosthodontics and also worked as a part-time general dentist at private practice in the years between 2005 and 2009.

Meet Dr. Fabrizio Cena Report

Dr. Fabrizio Cena was born in a small Italian town named Chivasso, an area rich with history. As Dr. Cena details, My ancestors were lumberjacks who in 1456, came down from the Alps in the Po Valley, in northern Italy, to help deforest and conquer land to farm. They became a generation of farmers, and it is thanks to their centuries-old work, that the region, which was once barren, transformed into an authentic garden.

Fantastic experience from the very start: this is NOT your parent’s dental office. Simple scheduling and check-in with SPOT-ON Covid-19 precautions throughout. Friendly, knowledgeable staff were a pleasure to speak with and very helpful. From the ever-patient reception nurses to the hygienist and dentist, every question was answered and every procedure plainly explained.
This experience truly changed the way I feel about going to the dentist…absolutely true.
Would DEFINITELY recommend…and I’m already scheduled for my next appointment!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would, the staff and Dr. Brian at the Fishersville location are great.
I would highly recommend Willis Family Dentistry to anyone who is search for a new dentist and practice. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Brian, he answered and explained what the options were , and what he was going to do in the process as he was doing the procedure.
You will not go wrong in choosing this practice, this staff and Dr. Brian.

Friendly staff, clean office, great service.
My dental hygienist Sam was so friendly, polite and professional. He took extra care to make the exam and cleaning as comfortable as possible, which I so appreciated!
The front desk staff was kind and responsive, able to schedule future appointments to fit my needs.
Dr. Podbesek was professional and attentive. He completed the exam without causing any discomfort.
I’ve found the best place for dental care!
