An extension is a form filed with the IRS to request additional time to file your federal tax return. I’ve been filing my taxes using Turbo Tax for many years, until I became self employed. Filling a 1099 is so much more complicated than a 1040. So I went to see a tax attorney whom was recommended to me by my neighbor near my home to file for an extension on April 13th, but was not happy with how he made me feel every time I asked questions regarding on how I can save on taxes like what I was able to deduct as a business expense. He also told me that I shouldn’t have waited until deadline and that all CPA firms are all extremely busy at this time of year. I left feeling helpless and anxious

I cannot say enough great things about this company. From the beginning they have been quick to respond and very kind to answer any questions we have had. They have been a game changer for our family in the tax world. I did have some concerns after reading bad reviews online, but Jonathan Frost himself personally called me after voicing these concerns to explain the reason behind the disgruntled comments. Ina, a tax planning specialist, has been great help to us and always so so kind to answer my 1000 questions! We are excited to see what the future holds with them!

I decided to switch to JD Frost & Co in August of 2020. So far my experience has been great. They helped identity more deductions that my prior CPA had missed and I just received the refund this week.
I also use bookkeeping services for my real estate businesses through the Croft company. Great work so far, worth the $$, even though it is a pretty penny.
