Many professions grant special recognition to members upon completion of a series of academic and service requirements that eclipse those of state or national licensing boards. This level of achievement is often recognized by the use of initials after one's name to signify this level of achievement.
A funeral or memorial is a customary way to recognize death and its finality. Funerals are held for the living to show respect for the dead and to help survivors begin the grief process. They also give mourners a chance to share stories, create memories, fulfill religious beliefs & customs, participate in a support system, and gather at a peaceful place during a time of confusion and uncertainty.
Holding a funeral or memorial service for your loved one is a positive first step in the grieving process. Family members and friends get a chance to say their goodbyes, and at the same time, they get to share strong feelings with one another. In the days, weeks and months following the service, people continue to need others to lean on for understanding, encouragement and guidance.

I am a month late, but I wanted to write a review about this awesome funeral home. I lost my husband in November of this year, I am not from Atlanta , and someone told me about Goolsbys. I am so glad they did because they were awesome from start to finish. First, my husband had been sick for months and had lost over a 100 pounds, I only gave them a picture of him and I could not believe how much they were able to make him look like himself. Next, Marie was very kind, comforting, and so down to earth. Darlene, was also very sweet and the video tribute they made for me was excellent. I would recommend

Mrs. Goolsby is so kind and professional. Made my dad service so wonderful. They held my hand through the whole process and I am so grateful for them. Helped me with laying my dad to rest at Georgia National Cemetery. With full military honors. I was so happy with everything. They treated me like family.
