Came here for a quick breakfast one day with some friends. We had a decent sized table, but our food still came out quickly and the server was able to be really efficient. Their breakfast menu is pretty well rounded. I wish I could have tried more than just the grits brown, but I didn't have the appetite for anything more. The grits were cooked perfectly and the bacon was cooked until crispy. There were plenty of eggs and cheese on top too. Overall it was a solid experience I will be back again so I can leave a more comprehensive review.

Nice spot in downtown Macon. I ordered the smoke house burger with the impossible patty. It was delicious. The French fries were so good and crunchy.

I always love coming here. The past time I went they were shorthanded, so I had to remind them to come get our order and drinks along with reminding them when I asked for ketchup. The staff were very polite and apologetic and even made part of our meal free due to the wait. I will be coming back here in the future.

Absolutely love taking a break from the usual and trying something new. That’s how we ended up driving from Perry to Macon to have lunch today. The service was great. Smiles and a warm, friendly welcome from the moment we arrived. We were seated in a nice and clean high top table. The only thing that kept me from 5 stars is a nasty menu. It’s gross in my opinion. Especially considering how businesses close early because there aren’t customers to serve. Take a moment and wipe those menus please. The food was absolutely the best! We loved the fried green beans for an appetizer and wanted to

My new favorite place to eat! Jeff the bartender is the best! Patient, accommodating, and friendly. He made our margaritas perfectly. Only ate appetizers but they were both delicious. The seafood nachos were so fresh and tasty. Enough to easily share with a friend. The crab cakes are the best I’ve had in Ga. High quality ingredients take the food to the next level.

My wife and I had the best experience in over two months today at Michael's. We each got a drink from the bar and they were perfect. She got the shrimp and grits and I had a shrimp salad. The salad was great with awesome lettuce great ranch and perfectly cooked shrimp. The Shrimp and grits were the best we have had. Both of the meals were cooked to perfection. The service was spot on and was definitely the best experience we have had in a long time. Come by and give it a try.

This was disappointing. We came for lunch and the quality of each dish was lackluster. The sandwiches were greasy and confusingly spiced, I got a salad with missing ingredients (the kitchen didn't have the ingredients but I would have liked to have known that before I ordered), the fish entree was fishy and old tasting. The children's burger was perplexing-the patty was a tiny dried out hockey puck on an adult sized bun. Lunch also took a LONG time despite a mostly empty restaurant. Our server was nice and friendly.

Very clean, friendly staff. Our server Christina was very attentive. Real southern sweet tea, good coffee. We ordered the platter, two eggs, French toast and bacon for my wife and I, sausage for the rest. You could choose how to have your eggs cooked so I chose scrambled and others a sunny side up. It was a very tasty breakfast!

A year ago this was one of the best places to eat in historic Macon. The food was sumptuous and the atmosphere was pleasant! Today, however, I had just gotten back into town after an extended stay in Manhattan. I decided to give my old favorite a try and I called ahead for takeout. Well, I got there and I stood in line waiting for my food for at least 1 hour. There was no one tending the register and the 2 waiter/waitress barely acknowledged my existence. Note: there was at least a dozen people waiting in line or already seated and waiting on their food ahead of me. As I continued to wait one couple

I ordered pick-up today for lunch. Both the food and customer service was amazing. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich/ w fries and it was delicious. The chicken was fresh and tender and the pretzel bun made it even better.
I usually get the steak potato which is very tasty also, but I wanted to switch it up a bit and I'm so happy I did. Definitely will be ordering it again.

The crabs cakes were alright. They had too much bread. I've had better but the ambiance was great and the wine was superb. The wait staff was nice. I look forward to going back to check out the rest of the menu.

Visited here for lunch during a training event! The wait to be seated wasn't long. The shrimp and grits were average at most for $16.99. I think I would go back if they had something that was a bit of a "specialty".

Stopped here for breakfast on a work trip. Great prices for all of the menu items for breakfast. I had the omelette and added all of the available veggies (highly recommended). Grits were cooked to perfection (not soupy or lumpy). Staff were friendly and took great care of us (we were a table of 7).

I don't know what happened here, the management changed and so did the quality of food!

A staple in the community has fallen hard! I ordered a blackened shrimp salad because I was on the go and didn't think it would be hard to make a salad. I took my salad back to the office where I found what appears to be microwaved shrimp what were thrown on a skillet and burnt a little then thrown on a bed of brown salad.

This is not the type of service I am accustomed to here.

Three strikes your out!!! I went to the New Michaels on Mulberry today for lunch. It is under new management!!! Love the Shrimp Nachos. well it is suppose and reads on the menu lobster cream sauce. Not!! it is spicy white cheese nothing like it was before it changed over to new management this is the second time I have given it a try. The chef swears it is mixed in. I had maybe 3 shrimp cut up on the top all this for $8.99. When the bill comes it $11.99? The waiter took it back and took off $2.00. Now $11.99 to $8.99 is $3.00 right? I just left never to return. TERRIBLE!!!! The ticket is always

New management, new menu and not one but two bad experiences. First visit at lunch ordered a wrap. They were out of wraps. Ok but 1/3 of the menu is a wrap. Decided to try again. Menu has a chicken quesadilla for 8.99 so I try that. The server ask what side I would like with it ( they aren't on the menu). After hearing the sides I choose chips, thinking tortilla chips. I get a small bag of plain potato chips. Then the bill comes and the charge is 11.99. When I ask about the difference the server explains that the menu is wrong, the chicken quesadilla was moved from appetizer to entree and

I tried very hard to like this place since we share the same name. From my understanding, the restaurant is "Between the Bread" by morning/day and "Michael's on Mulberry" during the evening/night. I went while it was still "Between the Bread". Our waitress seemed a bit flustered and rushed as we sat down. She commented on how busy it was, which kind of set the tone for the rest of our visit. She did do a good job telling us what the daily specials were. One of the specials was "Seafood Tacos" with your choice of 2 (Grouper, Salmon, and Shrimp) and a
