I rented from them for a year. The day before my lease was over I got super sick and was in the hospital, I explained that to them and they were completely understanding. They let me stay a couple more days and let me finish instead of down my throat asking me to turn in my keys.

I rented an apartment from Henry Schwaller & Associates, Inc. on a 5-month lease. Overall, I had a good experience with the business except for the details concerning my security deposit, which is why I am only leaving 3 stars. I paid the security deposit and first month's rent on the day that I signed the lease. I paid each month's rent before their due dates. I let the office know of any issues I ran into, such as a broken outlet or a nearly unlockable deadbolt, which were eventually taken care of. I let the office know one month in advance that the last month on my lease would be my last. I

Dealed with the owner, Henry Schwaller "IV", personally in my rental process. Unprofessional man, very poor service, condescending is how I'd summarize his character. Apartments were in poor condition, and reading from previous reviews, based on their standard of how the apartments should look once a tenant leaves, they should never be this dirty. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else like I did.

The company Henry Schwaller & Associates is unfriendly, unreliable, and should not be associated with to say the least.

While visiting town, I scheduled an appointment with Henry Schwaller and Associates to view various apartments. Not only was I met at the office with demeaning and condescending comments, but no one was willing to ask me what I was looking for.
After dealing with a horrible first impression at the office, I walked into 2 of the absolute worst apartments I’ve ever seen. They were dirty, old, poorly maintained, and quite frankly, falling apart. I was shocked that they were willing to rent the apartments in that condition.

I stayed in an apartment for 1 month, and they kept half of my security deposit. They claimed that I forgot to sweep and vacuum the carpets. They also said I forgot to scrub the toilet & shower. They even had the audacity to sate that I smoked in the room when I am clearly not a smoker. Fully dissapointed with Henry Schwaller and his team. Use my money wisely and invest it on your properties (they need it). Future renters, please expect to not receive your security deposit from this place.

Complete POS! I had a simple misunderstanding of when to get the key. A common mistake of not hearing something correctly and he refused to rent to me even though I had money in hand and lease signed. Do not deal with this man unless you want to be screwed over.
