This restaurant was a have to stop since everyone I know had recommended eating here. It is important to be patient as it seems to be busy all the time. We did get in and the food was good. I guess my anticipation was elevated a little so it wasn't great. Everyone was friendly. It's a very down to earth place so, alls well.

The 2 stars reflect the food. Our server was hardworking and got our food to us quickly. I had sliders that were overcooked and mostly bun with a dab of bacon jam and cheese. My husband had walleye that came out as a single strip not much bigger than a chicken tender.
The tots were mushy and cold. All of it was overpriced. I wouldn't recommend or go back.

The prime time is ALWAYS a great place for a meal in the coolest dining venue. It's like dining in a rustic cozy little cottage. My meat loaf sandwich was fantastic. Great hardworking friendly service. You can see why the Prime Time has been going strong for 50 years and why it's been my go to place for probably 40 years every time I visit the traverse city area.

Great little spot with friendly service and atmosphere! My wife and I came here on the recommendation of a friend, and I will be thanking my friend thoroughly for the suggestion!
Drunken Mushrooms were a great choice for an appetizer! Whatever combination of seasonings they use really make the mushroom flavor stand out!
I had the Western burger. It was a tender, delicious burger that seemed hand made and they cooked it rare, exactly like I asked for. Lots of places seem to think rare means "slightly less than well done", but they got it right here!
My wife got the whitefish. We could tell that
