We have gone by CR's lots of times and I finally made reservations for my husband's birthday, just so we could try it. Boy am I glad I did, we were more than pleasantly surprised. From arrival to departure, it was a top-notch experience. This is our new night-out dining spot. Get used to us CR's! From start to finish, a superior dining experience.

I'd heard great things about this restaurant and decided not to wait much longer before trying it.
My review is for the bar/ lounge section only. The plan was for 6 of us to enjoy their Happy Hour from 4 to 6 which includes some interesting drink and small bites specials.
Entering the restaurant I was greeted by a lovely host. I made my way over to the bar area which I found to be quite upscale for the area. The tasteful decor is a combo of upscale meets comfort... CR's was literally steps from our hotel.
CR's is very romantic and cozy. The interior has rustic decor along with fireplaces. CR's was decked out with wonderful Christmas decor!
Our server brought over water and the yummiest of petite breads.
The restaurant did have a lovely wine list.
However, I opted for a Pomegranate Mocktail that was a little sweet, but good.
We shared Clam chowder, Crab cakes and a very large Greek salad.
The Crab cakes were Huge and Fabulicious!!'
The Greek salad was so large, that we brought it back to the hotel

When I came to this establishment I expected great things. However that was not the case when the server delivered my burger. The food here is far below my standards and if I am being honest, I've had better at McDonald's. I spoke with the manager and I have never met someone this unprofessional. I will gladly take my business to the Old Salt where they have never turned me down, I highly recommend that restaurant to anyone who reads this review.

We went for our anniversary and they made it a night to remember. Hostess were wonderful and wished us a happy anniversary. Our waiter Chris was just incredible. So attentive and professional. Just can’t say enough about how well he made our experience. Food was to die for. The best place I’ve been to in years!! Thank you to all your staff for such a great night.

I have mixed feelings about this place. Was recommended by some friends...starting with the good: the Gnocchi appetizer we shared as a taste for the table was to die for. Basically just as good as you would imagine from the description. On top of that, they make a great martini here. Go with blue cheese olives and it's a perfect cocktail for dinner. However, I couldn't give more than three stars because the bad: $24 tagliatelle entree was the blandest and most boring pasta dish I have ever consumed...I had to shower it in salt and pepper just to get some kind of flavor out of it. Although we have eaten at CRs many times and found the food and staff service to be great, we were very disappointed by the desk customer service on this occasion. We called ahead for outside seating and were told no outside reservations were being taken, first come first served and one outside table available at that time. When we arrived, 2 outside tables were open, but we were told they had begun taking outdoor reservations in the past half hour since we'd called and nothing was now available. Not acceptable

I would have given this 5 stars but the hostesses handled us Not having a Reservation very poorly. I called ahead to see if they were Open and was told yes and to come right in (no mention of needing a reservation). When we arrived we were told they were full and could not accommodate us. No mention that we could wait for seats at the bar. I had to ask if the bar was first come first serve. We happily waited for the bar and was seated within 10 mins. From then on the Bartenders were great as well as the food.

We visited last night for our first time and everything was wonderful. We made an online reservation, and were seated within 10 minutes. The hostess checked in on us a couple times, which I loved especially being new customers. Our server, Amanda, was sweet and accommodating. The food was AMAZING!! The atmosphere, beautiful. We will absolutely be back, and recommend you go if you haven't been yet.

Found this hidden gem by accident while searching for dinner on the ride to Maine. Loved the ambience especially the bar. Friendly staffs. Wide selections of drinks.
Had the Seared Rare Tuna and it was amazing!! Served with some tasty veggies and sweet potato. Couldn’t have asked for a better dinner meal.

We went to this place on a whim as we had gotten off the highway and we're looking for a restaurant still open during Covid. CRs fit the bill. They were fortunate enough to get in on a very busy Saturday night.
The place was swanky, Clean and definitely upscale for the Hampton area. We had a lovely waitress beautiful staff and the menu was pretty extensive and had a lot of interesting options. I was very excited to see the schnitzel On the menu. I also had a Caesar salad which was good but way too big and enormous on the plate. The wine selection was good. I would definitely be dressed up

Always a wonderful experience at CRs. It is a lovely atmosphere with comfortable seating, a darker ambiance and is not noisy even when busy. We enjoyed the live acoustic music as well. We started our meal with a great glass of sauvignon blanc and a dirty martini, salads and freshly baked bread. Main course, I had the scallops which were cooked to perfection, set on a fresh spring pea puree and topped with lightly fried scallions. My husband had shrimp in a delicious house made red sauce a top a scratch-made bed of lasagna noodles. We finished off our meal with Chocolate Crémeux...a chocolate french

Had a 6pm reservation for our 5 year anniversary and we're so glad we found this place. My wife is gluten intolerant and our waitress was super knowledgeable and helpful. The gluten free bread and hummus was outstanding. We both had the filet mignon and it was superb. Great atmosphere, classy but not stuffy and overall a great place for a dinner!

This is our favorite bar and restaurant. We have a standing bar reservation and with good reason. The greeters, Diane and Deb, are friendly and do a great job managing the reservation list and walk-ins. The bar staff, Tania and Adam, are attentive, professional and personable. The management staff, Jerry and Emily, touch base with every diner to make sure expectations are met. If anything doesn't measure up, they will make it right. The Owner, Chuck Rolecek, makes a point of chatting with frequent diners and new folks. The food and service are definitely 5 Star. We always feel at home.

CR's offers a cozy, fire lit, serenaded environment with incredible service. Our waitress was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and more than willing to entertain our numerous "swap out" requests and menu questions. The food was good, but I would dare to say that the drinks surpassed the meal. The holiday sangria and dirty martinis were made to perfection. The meat with the pork belly appetizer was superb, but the spare rib was incredibly tough and hard to eat, though the flavor was rich. Deserts would phenomenal as well.

Great place for a celebratory classic dinner. Service and environment were great. Fun cocktails and delicious espresso martini. I got the squash salad and that could have had more squash. Other than that we loved our server Janet (i think) and our entrees. Veal chop and duck breast well cooked and seasoned.

I went here with some friends, all together there were six of us, out for a special occasion. We were seated quickly since we had reservations. Our server took our order for cocktails while we looked at the menus. Having planned this dinner for a long time, I already knew what was on the menu. For Father's Day, my wife and daughter picked CR's as my treat and what a treat it was!! CR's owner also ran CR Sparks in Bedford, NH and Hanover Chop House in Manchester, NH...both great restaurants although sadly CR Sparks has been closed for several years...sold to a Lexus dealership.
For drinks my wife went with the Pama Cosmo, my daughter had the Elderflower Fizz and I had the Black Walnut Old Fashion, my new favorite drink if your a bourbon lover like myself...see my pic of cocktail menu. All the drinks were

This place is clearly trying to cater for the premium end of the spectrum, an aspiration that is ever-so-slightly tarnished by their lack of an enforceable dress code. So for example, although the couple on one side of us were wearing dinner jacket and classy dress, the group on the other side of the room were clad in T-shirts and shorts and looked as if they'd just left the beach. Really people, if you're going to dine at an upmarket restaurant like this, you could at least make an effort to dress for the occasion.
