My name is Ken, aka Maui Island Portraits. I'm a photographer here on Maui with a particular interest in, and some skill and experience in, outdoor, natural setting, on-location environmental portrait photography for families, kids, couples and weddings. Of course, I also very much enjoy capturing and sharing scenic digital images of sunsets, shorelines, streams and waterfalls, close-up flowers and surfing.

Working with Ken was a pleasure. His taste for natural scenery and lightning gave a good foundation for some authentic, real like photos

Ken had ideas, but ensure that there was room for my inputs as well, thereby co-creating a great variety of looks
Its my experience that he was quick to reply on mails about inquires leading up to the shoot and I had the pictures shortly after the shoot was completed

Had our pictures taken on 12/24/12. Ken suggested the place and time and he was there waiting for us. There were 11 of us, ages 65 to 5 years, Mom and Dad with our 2 grown daughters and their husbands and kids. Ken got us all orgainized in groups so effortlessly. He took each family then the kids and then all the kids(grandkids) I look at the pictures and smile becaues we all have these wonderful pictures to remember our Maui Family vacation.
The kids all loved their pictures of them jumping in the air.
