They had my vehicle for 9 days, October 7 - October 15.
They never called to tell me they were over a week behind.
When they got to it on the following Friday, they test drove it, scanned it for codes and said they didn’t know what was wrong, and it would have to wait until Monday, which would have been October 18th. I had it towed ($$$) to a professional shop where it was diagnosed and repaired the same day.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! They charged me $100 an hour giving me a bill over $600 took it in for alignment and inspection it failed inspection and they were going to charge $125 for it failing. They say they did alignment but it is the same. They made me pay for emissions even though it failed. Made me think it passed and it didn't. Oh and he knew that I'm a single mom of 4 living on SSI taking care of my bestfriend who is disabled too.

Made the mistake of not calling around for different estimates and got severely over charged for the repair I needed. The Chevy dealer could have done the same exact repair for 1.6 hours and I was charged over 5 hours of labor (at almost $100 an hour) by Penton. Not to mention the one and only part needing to be installed was $88 through Chevy and Penton charged me $266 for the same part. I was all for supporting local businesses and especially this one because the owner seems like such a nice guy.

Penton Automotive has always been wonderful to me. Communicative, prompt and helpful. Once gave me a car to use while mine was in the shop, and another time came and picked up and dropped off my car as I didn't have anyone to bring me. Always honest, fair and do a great job. They go over and above for their customers! Definitely recommend highly!
