Gyros are hit or miss because they don't roast the meat on the spit long enough. Their crinkle cut fries sometimes tastes like fish. I guess it's because they cook a lot of fish in the same deep fryer. On my last visit, there wasn't any hand soap in the mens restroom. Aside from that, I observed the cook once rub his mouth and chin with his bare hands. If you ask me, they should be wearing gloves. But what do I know.

This place was overall very good. The filet was well-cooked a quite great and the rice had a sweet tangy lemon zing that really made it special. Lots of onions, but it’s always good to have extra.
The only complaint I have is the soup was almost cold, like it was just warmed up in the microwave.
This is my second time at this location and the first time I went the only problem I had was they gave me way too many fries.

Would recommend. The BBQ gyro I got the first time was truly something special. Never had that combination of things

We picked up good tonight and I got the gyro bowl. The gyro was so dried out it was inedible. I also got a spinach pie and it was so rock hard I couldn't even eat it. I have eaten here several times before and it was great but this was the worst food I have even had in my life from a restaurant. Very disappointed and will not eat here again.

It was the first time my wife and I came to the Gyro grill and let me tell you we were not disappointed. She got the regular gyro plate and I got the gyro bowl witch are both delicious and portions were great for the money. Witch for 2 people wasn’t crazy expensive. We did eat inside and they are following all Covid guidelines. We will return.

We really like this place as one of our go to for take out... Great Greek Salad, and Gyro Dinner. The Also have Greek Fries, but the change the fries recently from fresh cut, to frozen fries and they totally change the flavor of greek fries. Other than that everything else we ever had is great. We have been customer since Grand Opening, not sure if there's new management. The seems like the manu changed... Good customer service, and everything is made to order. The wait is not so bad, but you can always call your order ahead.

I found this place by chance and since then I've been there 3 times in 2 weeks
The filet mignon pita is phenomenal! The Greek potatoes are A+ and the prices are extremely reasonable ! The desserts are extremely fresh and delicious! Can't wait to try more items
The only bad thing is their Greek rice seems to be a little under cooked every time I order it.

Food was delicious and well priced. I didn't even finish the whole thing! They really stacked the gyro meat on my platter. Only concern was the cook and another person in the back weren't wearing masks when we entered. The cashier was and she wore gloves as well. Although, I will be returning in the future... maybe once the pandemic is over.

We turned into this shopping center to go to Portillo's but, we decide we wanted a Gyro. The food was great and the service was great as well. The platter with French fries was more than enough for 2 people. The Greek fries with the feta cheese was GOOD!
We will be coming back to Gyro Grill the next time we are in town!

- None of the employees were wearing masks. Thanks for putting us at risk for Covid
- Saganaki Sticks were like frozen mozzarella sticks you buy in the store but with a different type of cheese then drenched in lemon juice
- The lettuce was wilted and brown
- The chicken bowl was wilted lettuce with 4 chicken strips. nothing special.
- No dressing on the salad but it did have a light brown liquid on the bottom
- The chicken souvlaki two skewers with tiny pieces of chicken
- The Greek potatoes were good bu I wont be back

Love this place but won't be back. Food is great. Not enforcing social distancing. Kitchen staff not wearing masks or gloves. Ordered and paid for my food but then saw one of the cooks touch his face and then touch the prepared food without gloves or washing his hands. Not only bad hygiene but also violation of health code. I immediately told the manager who apologized and offered a refund, but he also said he can't get proper disposable gloves because they melt... albeit Costco had proper food-Service gloves available when I had gone there 20 minutes earlier. My husband and I went here on the recommendation of our son. I had the filet mignon skewers platter that came with chicken lemon rice soup, pita and Greek potatoes as my sides. My husband had the gyro, pita, chicken lemon rice soup and Greek potatoes. We also ordered the saganaki bites. All of that and a coke and bottle of water was only $34 with tax. We each are good eaters and we brought half our platter home for lunch tomorrow.

My daughter had eaten at the Gyro Grill several times and raved about the food. Today she took me here for my first visit, and now i am hooked! The owners are very personable and make you feel welcomed and appreciated. My Greek Bowl (w/chicken) was DELICIOUS to the max! The grilled chicken so tasty, with lettuce, feta cheese, rice, Greek Potatoes, tomatoes...satisfyingly filling! We ordered dessert to go, Backlava and an out of this world Greek custard dessert! Plus cute decor and very cheery Greek music.

I love this place! Several tasty meat options..chicken, pork, filet mignon, shrimp. I get the filet bowl :)). Tender, seasoned and grilled just right, and with plenty of fresh ingredients. These people love what they're doing and you can taste the difference! Pricing is reasonable. Atmosphere is simple tables and chairs, warm and very friendly. Nice music too!

My first visit today was amazing. I Had the rice bowl with Fillet Mignon. The rice was light, fluffy and very flavorful with pieces of oven roasted potatoes throughout. The fillet was cooked beautifully, tender and seasoned perfectly. Nice pieces of tomatoes and lettuce strewn on top and it was an entire meal in a bowl. The tzadziki side was incredible, I can never make this right at home and I'm Greek lol
Very modestly priced also. I'm very impressed and will visit often or as long as it takes to get the tzadziki recipe lol

Travelling from Cincinnati to Chicago, my wife and I got off the crowded interstate to travel the "backroads." Well, not really, but we did get off I-65 to avoid a huge traffic delay and stumbled across Gyro Grill in Tinley Park. I ordered a gyro with Greek potatoes and my wife a shrimp bowl. The Owner greeted us like family, the food was delicious like homemade and the portions very generous. Highly recommended.
