We invite you to stop in with family, friends, co-workers, or business associates for a nice meal, to relax and unwind, and enjoy your afternoon or evening. Try a different dining experience than typical fast food and the same old corporate chains and franchises, visit Petey's. We're proud of being a well-established local dine-in full service restaurant for over 50 years and a dining family tradition for generations.
Services
Petey and Mary opened their first restaurant in Oak Lawn, IL back in 1961 named Petey's Bungalow Lounge. Mary along with her brother Sam managed the second location for many years and were instrumental in building the business before retiring a decade ago. We sincerely appreciate Sam's commitment, leadership, and contribution to the longevity and success of our organization through the years.
For starters, our menu offers tasty appetizers for sharing. A crowd favorite is our Grecian saganaki - OPA! Our lunch menu includes a variety of sandwiches, burgers, omelets, and lunch portion entres. For dinner, we feature a nice selection of main dishes including slow-roasted prime rib, hand cut steaks, ribs and chops, chicken, seafood, fish, pasta, and authentic Mediterranean Grecian style cuisine (spanakopita, pastitso, dolmades).
Make it an easy dinner night at home for you and your family, or even when planning an office lunch at your workplace for your team! Leave the cooking to us! We understand you can't always dine-in, but you can still enjoy your favorite meal To Go. We offer carry outs with curbside service convenience so you can enjoy a real meal at home or at work, too.
Take a break and just chill! Stop by Petey's II and hang out after work or a long day to watch a game, munch on a few appetizers, and enjoy a favorite cocktail or cold beverage at the lounge. This local neighborhood bar has been serving the residents of Orland Park and surrounding nearby communities (Orland Hills, Tinley Park, Mokena, Homer Glen, Frankfort, Lockport, Oak Forest) since the late 1960s and we're still here.
For dine-in reservations or take out orders, call (708) 349-2820. Last minute reservations left on voicemail or emailed are not accepted. We will do our best to seat you when a table is available when you arrive, however there may be a short wait during high volume times. For Take Out orders, please call during non-peak times to place your order and we'll have it ready at your pick up time.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The food was less to be desired. Apparently the kitchen staff are not required to know how to cook a steak or even know which cut is which. The manager, Nick was the most rude person I have EVER encountered in my life. How this man-child is a manager at a once successful restaurant is mind blowing, and perhaps the reason why this place is no longer what it once was. I will never be back, nor will I recommend to others. In fact, I will warn them not to waste their time and money.

Right on the door as your walk in is a sign stating that masks are optional (which means none of the servers, bartenders, kitchen staff or any employee is wearing a mask) and that they are not social distancing. Then once we got inside it smells like a dirty bar and is not very clean. My husband and I left right away and the rest of our party of 5 left shortly after. We ended up getting the food to go. We have been coming here for years and have usually enjoyed a nice meal, but we will definitely not be back again. Oh, and the food is expensive but extremely mediocre. Definitely not worth your

We were greeted with this sign when we went in for our Christmas Eve meal. I’m aware it’s impossible to have a risk-free dinner out during a pandemic, but to just announce that you won’t be complying with a statewide COVID mitigation mandate doesn’t exactly set a great tone. We ended up ordering our overpriced food to go. Steaks were dry and unimpressive.

Excellent food, phenomenal waitstaff and prices well under what I would expect for the superb quality of food and service. Everything about this place I'd great, my wife and I can't get enough and we both tend to be picky food snobs. I seen a negative review about the quality and price and after reading the review it was clear as day that person wasn't giving an honest review based on the quality of food, price or service instead giving a biased review because they didn't like a sign on the door. Your attempt to smear an excellent restaurant not because of their food or service was thinly veiled

One of the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Masks optional so if you want to get COVID good place to dine. There were 4 people in our party and we all agreed food was bad! I had the prime rib it was hardly
Edible. I ate about 1/3 of it. Tough and tasteless. I took it home for my dog but decided to throw it out because I didn’t want my dog to get sick on it!

Take yourself to this traditional, fabulous restaurant. We've been there several times and each time is a treat. The original (Evergreen Park, I believe) started in 1969. This is one outstanding place you eat. Combine great food, terrific service, large menu, and easy parking. Can't miss. You won't regret it.
