The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.

Very professional and thorough. My only issue was having to come back to the cemetery to pick out the headstone after burying my son. This is something that should have been done on the front end and not the back end. Speaking for myself - having to come back up there to take care of that was very hard especially coming just a couple days after burying him. I know back in Aug 2018 when my mom passed, we used Forest Park West and that was taken care of at the time we made the burial arrangements. I just think it is easy on the family to do that on the initial instead of after. Other than that, I

If I could give a 0, I would. Each service request, I was informed I would need to pay in full before getting the requested service/item. We paid in full the amount needed for burial/perpetual care. Yet, we had to beg for 3 months when my husband's gravesite needed to be filled when it sunk in over a foot.
Due to the experience, I went to another vendor to get a headstone and informed them of it. The person I worked with begged me to give him the business and he would make it right. I signed a contract and paid in full (over $4,000) on 1/6/21. It is now 8/17/21 and I am (for the 3rd time) being

We were required to pay for everything up front when I contacted them on August 5, 2017 just after my Mother passed away on Aug.4th. There were all sorts of variables in cost, such as what time of the day the burial was to take place... Before such-and-such time it was one price, but if after such-and-such time it would cost more... Then, once we paid, our guy called back and said he had forgotten to add taxes, so we had to pay more. The fellow who was 'assisting' us was MR.Parker Ward. A pompous, pious little guy who was obviously enjoying his power over a bereaved family. Not pleasant or comforting

We had to pay $2300.00 just to open and close the grave. That cost more than the 2 plots alone. You buy the plots and they can charge you anything they want. They have you over a barrel!!! They take advantage of those that have just lost a loved one. If I had known beforehand I would have sold the plots and gone elsewhere. This is a rip off and fraud!!!
