A native of Charleston, South Carolina, Mary grew up on her family farm in the Low Country near the Atlantic Ocean. Continuing her seaside living, she has made the East End of Long Island her home for over 40 years. Passionate about photography, she began her "career" with her first Brownie camera at the age of twelve.
