I was referred to Matthew Sheasby by a coworker. I was told he never loses. So I called him and got an over the phone consultation (during the covid shut down). I had to file an emergency ex parte for child custody for my son and wasn't sure if the courts were even open. He gave me great advice and pointed out things that I hadn't even thought about. Made an appointment to meet with MrSheasby for today. Completed the paperwork he emailed us and gave him info on what we wanted to accomplish. Unfortunately, he was not at the office the office and did not even know we had an appointment. This is no way to run an office. He left us in a horrible situation. Not happy at all.

The best thing I did in my divorce was to fire Matt Sheasby. He had paperwork for over a month and did not contact me. I thought he was waiting on paperwork. He made explained that it was his fault and then tried to justify it with excuses.
He never gave me ANY work that he did in a written document. He called me and told me a bunch of numbers and things that I did not quite understand and told me to do the exact opposite of what I wanted to happen.

It's tough to really review a law firm. The outcome isn't always the way we want it so it makes it easy to have reviews based on the judgment and not the actual lawyer. Their firm is very professional. I had a trial regarding custody of my children and Matthew and his team was at my court appointment early with all my things ready. This particular case was called to trial so I was extremely nervous but as I walked up I seen Myle (Matthew's associate) talking with the defendant getting more information to present to the judge. Myle and Matthew sat with me through out the entire trial presenting all that we reviewed and I rewarded full custody of my children! The trial started at 10am until 4pm. Poor service as a divorce attorney. Do not recommend. Choose wisely. I had to literally contact the opposing party for documents and process a lot of my own paperwork. Was forgotten about on several occasions. Two years to process divorce with no alimony or child support. My belief is the cases with the most money involved are the ones not forgotten.
