I hope these words find you well. After a great deal of deliberation and reflection, I have decided to move out of Indiana, begin work with another practice, and close out my practice here. It is certainly emotional to step away from the community I've been a part of here; I am also very excited to grow and learn in a new place and new role.

Thank you for the opportunity to provide care for you and for extending your trust to me. It has been a joy and honor to provide services for you, be in community with you and to have shared parts of our journeys together. My new practice home will be Hawn Therapy and Consulting in Baltimore, MD, which you can feel free to check out here.
Services
Folks come from all sorts of backgrounds and hold a variety of identities, yet we all have to live and work together. Counseling can be a powerful tool for navigating these challenges. I have provided treatment and support for individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, coming out, gender identity, relationship issues, sex, and other life issues.
Together, we will decide how sessions should look for you. We will work to understand the roots of what you are experiencing and craft approaches for you to take. To do this, we may borrow from several theories including: Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Existential theory, and Family Systems Therapy.
There are three doors on the back of the building: use the first floor door, the one parallel to Rogers St. that you access by going down six steps (or going down a ramp). If you enter by one of the other doors, you'll simply be on the 2nd floor: find the staircase and head downstairs. When you've entered the first floor door you'll see a hallway with one door on each side; walk past those doors and turn right before the staircase.
I'll get back you within a business day. Feel free to contact me using whatever method with which you are most comfortable. You can use the form on on the right to communicate about appointments, inquire about services, or ask a question. Or, if you prefer, you may call or email; that information is listed below.
