A building's support systems can be a significant source of unwanted noise and distraction for those occupying the space. In office space, this can prevent focused work or limit effective teleconferencing. Hospitals and medical facilities with these issues may see a correlation with patient care and recovery.
Regardless of the project size or location, unwanted outdoor noise can be a significant issue. During construction, this can manifest as noise impacting neighbors or building occupants. Either way, it's critical to analyze environmental noise impact for your project.
