Dr. Parks graduated from Loma Linda School of dentistry in 1990 with a degree in general dentistry. After graduating he moved to Modesto, CA and worked for seven years. In 1997 he moved to Aztec and purchased the practice from Dr. Hendrickson. He loves this area of the country because it reminds him of the area of Africa he spent time in as he was growing up and it is a great place to raise children and have fun.

A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Examination of diagnostic x-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.

I’m so happy that I changed my previous dental clinic to Smilemaker. They only charged you for what they’ve done to your tooth, while the other one is like ripping your pocket off! I understand that you have to pay your workers but not with your patients over charging bills. Thank you Smilemaker for helping me out and feels like I’m in a great clinic with great people as well. I highly recommended this clinic. I’ve been to different dental clinics but because Smilemaker deserve a good review and so I did this.

Dr. Parks and his team are wonderful!!! I've been seeing Dr. Parks for about 8 years now after having one bad experience after with another with other dentists. The most memorable experience I have with Dr.Parks is when I developed TMJ so bad. It had started long before I met Dr. Parks and I had even went to a specialist that did nothing for me. Dr. Parks took good care of me and was my savior from the excruciating pain I was having!!! I love Dr.Parks and his team!!
