We are from out of town and went there because of review rates5 star. Waiter was excellent but the food was terrible. My French dip meat was full of fat and the bread was burnt, my husband had steak and potato, his potato wasn’t done. Had to pay extra for salad, mushrooms on $34 steak. $91 for meal. Anthony restaurant down the street was 5 star for same price the food was melt in your mouth

We've had breakfast here a few times. Food is pretty good and servings are decent sized. Was a little unhappy last time I was there because they charged an extra fee for using a credit card. Stopped there tonight for dinner and left after we were seated because all of the employees had their masks below their mouths, including our server who leaned over really close to our faces to talk to us.

I went here for a lunchtime date with my husband while we had a rare treat of babysitting for our toddler and it was a breath of fresh air to go to a nice place and be served a delicious meal. The view of the river park right there is very nice. Restaurant has mostly the decor of Steakhouse, but diner-like furniture and TVs with sports ball on low volume. He was excited that breakfast was still being served and got the chicken and waffles. I got the sausage alfredo, crab was out. Sausage alfredo was creamy and rich but good. We also had a delicious shrimp appetizer, and alfredo was large so I took

Number 1 date night choice. It’s a little spendy but it has great taste, super friendly service, and wait time is not half bad. It cost about the same as Olive Garden but 100% better food and more options. Something for everyone.

Nothing special here. Not sure why all the rave with the people I know. Way too many items on the menu. When there are so many choices how can you ever expect the food to be good, fresh or authentic? Most surely foods has to be prepackaged, highly processed foods, doubt majority is made from scratch so, no different from any fast food joint, just costlier because it's a sit down restaurant. Was not impressed. But not disappointed. Because most diners are typically the same. Too many customers for comfort. I personally don't like a lot of chatter around me while trying to enjoy a meal. 1 Best. 10

2 plates where amazing, not mine. You think the most expensive plate at a table would have more care. I ordered a 10oz tri tip with mushrooms medium rare and by the picture you can see what I got. I don't mind rare if it's done right. Good value for size but not quality. I call it bubble gum steak. I tried frog legs when I was young and it was so tough my jaw got sore eating them, that was this steak. Not much for flavor either. The hospitality and ambience was great but getting a steak and baked potato maybe 2 degrees warmer than the room really speaks volumes about the cook as well as forgetting

Its sad this place has gone to the wayside. Food is just okay and service sucks. The menu is way to big. The staff are in pain. We simple ordered hamburgers. The are half the size of the bun, more condiments than protein. Way over priced. Great views of the river. If they simply cut the menu down and had happy staff that knew what they were doing this would be a great place. This was a bad experience all together!!!!’n

So many choices! Wonderful friendly staff. The steak was on point, perfectly cooked. The clam strips are huge. Better than Ivars. 😉 My son said the fries from Sterlings are his new favorite fries. My mother enjoyed her scallops. Funnel cake fries with raspberry, we wish we could get them back home.
The staff did not complain that we were a chatty bunch and were there still eating and talking past closing.

Was a first time visit for out of town family that had gathered for a funeral last weekend. They were quick to seat our parties of 25, 9 and 4. Food was fantastic and friendly service - we finished on time before church started and everyone enjoyed their breakfasts. Lovely spot on the river and the menu was full of delicious options!!

Since moving into their new building at the same location, they also seem to have improved the food considerably. I agree with the reviews that call them "hit or miss". Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can have a really great meal one time and the next time not so much. They were slow to adapt to COVID, but seem to be emerging well enough as things have started normalizing in mid-2021. Their breakfasts are the most consistently good offerings and their dinners the least so.

Pros: decent food at reasonable prices; great river views from most window seats and patio; much nicer

Hit and miss. Their food, overall, has declined over the last few years. Sometimes it is good, but more and more, it is lacking in flavor. The service has also gotten slower and less attentive. They do have the only salad bar in town and a great view, but it is getting harder and harder to justify the expense.

This was a great spot for breakfast, inside for a break from the triple digits in the Tri-cities.

We started with a round of fresh mimosas with huckleberry and ended with Green Tea shots made by our outstanding server, Les.

The Sterling breakfast platter was a table favorite and the fruit plate was fresh and crisp. Afterwards we walked along the river for a short while with drinks to go in hand.

I look forward to returning and trying more dishes. There were so many choices for food on the menu that looked fantastic. We even ordered breakfast for home delivery again later in the week because

I had the chicken fettuccine and my husband had the steak. The fettuccine was amazing and the chicken was cooked to perfection and saucy. My husbands steak was just okay, not the best cut of meat, so we both ate off my plate. I recommend getting the ranch on your salad, as the flavor is one of the best I’ve ever had. Great friendly service with local suggestions.

Shipwrecked gondola was pretty good gravy tasted like a common box gravy but still with the meal put together the way they did it hit the spot. The wife got the bluetastick burger I think it was called and the salad bar. The burger looked amazing and she really enjoyed it. The salad and sides at the salad bar where all very fresh and as anther review stated the ranch was one of the best ever tasted. The menus could use an upgrade as we could hardly read the desserts on the back but that just shows how much use they get.. Staff was polite and food came out quick. Will definitely go back if I'm in

Usually stop by Sterling's on G-Way for breakfast only. We had later appointment & we're ready for dinner. It was 5pm and Texas Roadhouse already had a 45 minute wait. Decided on Sterlings. . . I ordered the combo dinner of Tri Tip steak & fried prawns , baked potato & clam chowder as another side. My meal came out with 4-5 oz tri tip overly seasoned with Montreal Steak Seasoning (I believe) & 3 grilled prawns sprinkled liberally with paprika. I asked for fried prawns. Steak was tough & prawns were tasteless. The baked potato was obviously a left over, lukewarm &

I will never return, even though the food is good. They have posted the governor's number to protest their closure and clearly do not care about the safety of the community in this pandemic. It's sad, but I will never support money over people and that is what this horrible ownership is doing.

Amazing service and food Super accommodating and they have a million things on their menu. Not many gluten free or dairy free options but they will let you order what you want so totally possible. Burger and French dip sandwich with clam chowder. So amazing

Hostess was very pleasant. They seemed to get us seated fairly quickly. The server was pretty rude. She never checked on us and forgot some food. When I mentioned it she came by and rudely placed it in the middle of the table and walked away.

I have been to this restaurant 3 times during my extended stay in the Tri Cities. The food is good. I enjoy the view and will likely come back. The coffee however is terrible, more like brown water so skip that or order espresso.
The only negative thing is that it wasn't until the 3rd visit that I saw the tiny writing on the outside of the menu that said 3.4% sure charge for using a credit card. Now I know why my last bill seemed off. Wish they were more upfront about that. Had I known when I paid I would have paid cash. Seems excessive during a pandemic and like they are taking advantage

The people and the view are the reasons I gives 3 stars. They are nice people.

Foods totally different story. Seafoods were too salty, Crepes was cover in syrup, steak was probably the best they can do while covid, but I ordered medium rare and I get a close to well done piece of meat.

Patio is the only place that can open during this time, and the view is amazing. However, flies are every where and we constantly need to fight with them while we eat. We couldn't wait to get the check and leave.

This place calls for Gordon Ramsey in hell's kitchen. It has so much potential, but it

First time here. Came in for breakfast on a Sunday. We had fantastic service and great breakfast! We ordered the shrimp and crab hash and a lite breakfast. We also ordered a Bloody Mary, Loaded Mimosa and The Texas Fusion drinks and all were fantastic!!

We would totally come back and try lunch and dinner!
