Maguro Sushi House

We ate here for lunch and as I bit into a pc of my roll I ate a shard of what felt like glass. When I pointed it out she said it was probably a piece of a plastic container and went to show someone. She came back and asked what else I wanted but at that point I didn’t want to eat anything else from there. Never took it off the bill or even discounted it even though most of my food was uneaten. Never going back.

Ordered maguro. Very fresh, good color & texture, tender, no smell at all. Seems solid

I was visiting new jersey and stopped by for the first time for some sushi! was delicious! my server was brandon, he was super kind and gave great service! ☺️ would recommend

I really love this place!! But during these difficult times when people order your food via uber eats/take out...you need to make sure you give ginger and Wasabi with all the orders of sushi!. We ordered 3 special rolls ($70) and you can't put ginger and Wasabi on the side. I called and they said sorry kitchen is closed. Really?? Spent a lot of $$$ in your place...its a shame

Best place for the classics. Ingredients are fresh and you can tell. That's really the biggest difference in a Sushi place. This place does a good job. The wait staff has never been a problem either. They have a nice thing going.

Yummy food, friendly waiters, and a huge variety of sushi specials. I love sushi, but my fiancé does not like raw fish, and unfortunately he had very few options. (I have been to other places that have a wider variety of cooked hibachi and bento.) That wouldn’t have been a huge deal, but our food also took forever - we didn’t get our entrees until almost an hour had passed - despite there being only 2 other parties in the restaurant. Food was very good, but not worth that long of a wait.

I had the seafood soup it very delicious they also have other find dishes the atmosphere was great.

In contrary to the review of one of the previous reviewers, I counted 40 chairs in store, including the sushi bar chairs.
I really liked the seafood special roll. This tops many other sushi places in NorthEast NJ. I like it here a little better than the Towawa. It feels more modern and up-to-date. I love the atmosphere here!
Good food at a really good price. Can't ask for anything better.

My go-to place for sushi now. Their menu continues to improve each time I visit. Rolls and sushi combos have reached their art-form. You’ve gotta try them to believe. Still amazing service

The wait staff were nice but some did not understand English making our order come out wrong and unable to help us in our requests until getting further assistance. :-/ Food fresh but not very tasty. No bar, byob.

Was in town on business and was looking for something healthy, well, you know what I mean. I started ordering when I realized that the nigiri/sashimi prices were for one piece, not two. Not used to that at all. Was afraid it was going to be over priced but, I was immediately impressed with the quality of the fish. Hey, they gave me real wasabi with my Toro!

What a thick tuna & salmon sashimi!
Tuna tartar with chips and salmon carpaccio are really good, too
