Arlington Animal Hospital is allowing two clients per appointment into the hospital. Technician appointments, surgery admissions and discharges, and medication pickups will continue to operate as curbside services. 1) Park in our garage or on the street (don't forget to bring your parking ticket with you for validation.)
Metered spots now require payment for in-building appointments. 2 Please call us when you are outside our doors to check in for your appointment. 3 A veterinary assistant will meet you outside and escort you directly into an exam room. For 80 years, Arlington Animal Hospital has been trusted with the care of dogs and cats in the greater Arlington and surrounding communities.

Services
Arlington Animal Hospital opened its doors in 1938 and has had the pleasure of serving the community's dogs and cats ever since. We're proud to offer our patients comprehensive medical services administered by expert veterinarians and staff in a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. Arlington Animal Hospital prides itself on the lasting relationships built with pets and their owners.
We take the time to understand the individual lifestyle needs of each pet. It is our belief that there is no-cookie-cutter approach to pet health. Our mission is to acquaint ourselves with both owners and their pets in order to make the best decisions for the long-term wellness of our patients. In order to best serve our patients, we kindly request that appointments are scheduled in advance.
I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree from the College of William and Mary in 1994 and my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. I then went on to complete a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University Of Tennessee College Of Veterinary Medicine.
At Arlington Animal Hospital, we believe the best defense against health problems is preventive medicine. By combining routine physicals, vaccinations, diagnostics, and dental exams, complications can be detected in their earlier stages. The more quickly treatments begin, the better the chance that the problem can be resolved.
At Arlington Animal Hospital, we believe that your pet's wellness care should include a carefully considered vaccination and parasite prevention schedule that is based on his or her unique needs and lifestyle. Among the factors that determine a pet's vaccination requirements are age, size, medical history and environment.

My dog has been a patient here for about five years and we've only had very good experiences. Easy to schedule, great staff, compassionate vets. The vets even call days after appointments or if they know the pet has had a surgery to see how they are doing. I can't imagine a better veterinarian hospital.

I've been taking my chihuahua here for around five years and have only good things to say! We have had good experiences with every doctor and staff member we've interacted with. The doctors respond quickly to messages, questions, and med refills. Communication and appointments are always easy. My dog has behavioral issues and is always treated with patience and kindness 😊 like I mentioned at the beginning, only good things to say!

Arlington Animal Hospital is wonderful. Our dog is difficult with vets and requires a plan of action and sedatives before even the simplest of appointments. Dr. Jones works with me personally every time to make sure a plan is in place, that we are comfortable with the plan, and he is happy to explain the reasoning behind each of his decisions. The administrative staff is also very kind and patient, and always professional. We're glad we found AAH and Dr Jones, and are grateful for the quality of care we receive each time we're there.

Truly one of the best veterinary hospitals I have worked with! Continually providing excellent care for my dog Jax and they take the time to listen to my concerns as well as be realistic about trying to stay on a budget. Thank you guys for making pet care less stressful. You're the best! Dr. Young and Dr. London are terrific!

There new location is beautiful! Bright and spacious, very clean and easily accessible with ample parking in the lower garage. Street parking is also available. Dr. Jones and his staff have always been exceptional and caring! If you're looking for a veterinarian in the VA/DC area, be sure to give them a call.

Literally pillars of the community, having been in business for over 80 years — they are pretty much a South Arlington institution. Their offerings and services stay in line with the most progressive veterinary and behavioral research, and along with excellent customer service, there's not much more that one could ask from their local, dedicated vet.

This is the worse customer service ever! Cannot recommend and already told my friend to go to another vet, if they treat you poorly over the phone (in person the ladies in the reception look very miserable and extremely unhappy) what can you expect? The way they treated me over the phone is definitely not worth a second chance

A trip to Arlington Animal Hospital (AAH) feels more like a visit to extended family -- animal health professionals that share the same devotion to your pet as you do. The veterinarians and staff are also known for the friendliness and expertise. Dr. Bharathi R. Jones has been caring for my canines for nearly twenty (20) years. Most recently, AAH has been treating my Addison's Disease afflicted Brittany Spaniel -- and with great success!

Dr. London and staff are absolutely phenomenal! I visited them today for the first time in two years and immediately remembered why I appreciate them so much. All of the staff are very accommodating, especially with the lack of parking situation. One of the vet techs was kind enough to bring my two kitties outside while I went to get my car. It's the little things that really make all the difference.
