We had an amazing waitress! Being in the industry I was impressed by how quick she was able to get exactly what we wanted. I ordered a Monte Cristo with regular bread. It came with the French Toast. My niece urged me to try it before I did & yummmmmm is all I can say. Great service Angie & great cooks!

Stopped in on Thanksgiving for breakfast around 11am. Requested a window seat as there were several open. Keep in mind this is not the type if restaurant that requires reservations. The owners son showed us to a booth without a window, i asked why we couldnt have a window seat. He said it was out of his rotation and could not break his rules. I never heard of anything more ridiculous!!! Management is terrible!!!!

My family has always been regulars at the restaurant, however the past few times we've been here the service hasn't been the best. We visited this past Saturday. I'm not sure of the name of the waitress we had but she seemed as if we were an inconvenience to her. To start, I asked if we could have some crayons for my young child to Color with, in which she said they were out of crayons. Out of crayons? One of the worst dinning experiences of my life! Very little of this is on the kitchen. We had the worst server in the history of time. He knew nothing and made zero effort to serve our table. He literally didn't bring one refill to anyone without us having to ask. And when he came to the table he gave everyone food that they didn't ask for and all the wrong drinks. I knew more about the soup and specials from a 5 second glance at the board. After waiting 20+ minutes for our check while our server sat in a booth and stared at us we got up and went to the front. A slice of Small-town Americana is such a nice and refreshing alternative from the mid century minimalist aesthetic we are all so used to.
Our server was Angie and she was a delight. A pro in banter and she made us feel very at home.
I got myself a “divorced eggs Benedict,” which was phenomenal, and my old lady got the chicken tendies, which were 100% amazing.
The star of the show was the chicken and dumpling soup! So good, so hearty, and I wish it was snowing outside because this is the best thing for that.

My friends and I go out for lunch once a week and decided to go some place new. Pine Street Cafe have a big selection of dishes to chose from and breakfast is served all day. I had a mushroom omelet and it was very good. The staff was welcoming and the service was very good. We are going back again next week. That's how much we enjoyed our time there today.

Ordered four meals for pickup and only had 3 correct. Had to go back for the 4 meal. Not sure why they cannot take the correct order on the phone. It been a few months since I've eaten there and always had good inside service.

My wife and I really like this restaurant but lately we've been debating about continuing to go there. The last time we called in an order for pick up, we had 11 minutes of time to debate while being place on hold whether we were still going to place an order or go elsewhere. That's a ridiculous amount of time waiting to have someone hold on the line. I understand there busy times but then maybe take the caller's number and call them back when you have a moment.

Nice and cozy local cafe. Food was very good with generous portions at a very reasonable price. Comfortable atmosphere, decor is a bit dated but not dirty in any way. We chose a booth and the seats were very comfortable, staff is friendly and very attentive but not intrusive. We're happy we found this little gem. Definitely recommend them and we will most certainly be back.

Oh my goodness. This place was phenomenal. Little mom and pop breakfast stop. I came with my family party of 17 and our server, Trina, was awesome. This will most definitely be our breakfast stop every time I'm in town. Kids had Mickey Mouse pancakes... I had build your own omelette. BEST OMELETTE IVE EVER HAD!!!! Also ordered my hash browns crispy and they were great!

Ps. We made a reservation the night before; and we walked in at 930 on a Sunday morning with 17 people and sat us in our own little nook!

Stopped here with the Fam parents children grandchildren siblings ......group of 16. Trina Rocked the Service end of our experience. The chef nailed every plate on the table. Thanks to the whole team for making this a wonderful morning!!!!

Nice diner breakfast spot. Eggs are cooked your way and the coffee, weak, is plentiful. I enjoy this place! The prices are reasonable. What more could you ask for?

Really enjoyed the food and service here. Has all the breakfast favorites you expect at a diner, plus more. I'd go again!

We had the Eggs Benedict Florentine and the Steak Skillet.

This is where locals eat. If you want the traditional breakfast this is it. Omelettes and Skillets are my favorite go to. Cozy and good food. It isn't a breakfast only menu, but that is when I go. Worth stopping into.

Nothing special, but menu with food thats just ok. Hasbrowns are also disgusting no matter how they're cooked

The first few times we stopped here, it was good... the last time, not so much.... our server screwed up both orders... we were nickled and dimed on everything... mentioned our displeasure to the owner, and he didnt care... Burlington has tons of places to eat... skip this one and go to Charcoal Grill or Fred's.... or anyplace... this guy should nit be a business owner.

Pine Street Cafe is our favorite restaurant in Burlington. Hector and Maria Macias have done a great job building there business. The menu selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner offer many choices for adults and children. It is always a friendly atmosphere with great servers.

I went hoping for a quick meal.....the service was not good. I got the stirfry, which was not very good at all. I asked for a roll and she brought crackers with 1 dry piece of bread. The stirfry said it comes with dessert, so since I was now late, due to the service, asked for it to go. They charged me $15 for a $7.99 stirfry. When I asked why, it was because they charged for the dessert and a soda, even though I only had water! I asked why the dessert was charged, and they said the free dessert is only if you get pudding. Not what the menu said.....Pass this one by!!!!

Pine Street Cafe is one of the best places to eat in Burlington. The owners, Maria and Hector really try to make you feel welcome. The food is great and lots of choices. The staff are very friendly and offer quick service.

After reading the other two reviews we stopped in for a Sunday breakfast. The coffee IS good. The waitresses were very friendly and kept the coffee coming. The food, was not so good considering at the time they were not busy.
Our medium rare Ribeye steak and eggs over medium, came leathery well done, eggs cooked hard and the hash browns tasted like they were left over from Saturday. The toast was ok.
