Mama Cimino's is a third-generation authentic Italian pizzeria that, since the 1970s, has been serving original recipes that the family brought to the U.S. from Sicily. Nick Cimino's parents and grandparents immigrated to America from Ribera, Sicily, in 1971. The family settled in Rockford, Illinois, and opened the first Mama Cimino's in Freeport, Illinois, in 1974.

Was visiting the area and it was late. The place I was staying (Holiday Inn - Grand Geneva) recommended Mama Cimino's Pizza Delivery. The Pizza was delivered on time, but they had forgotten my ranch that I had requested. They made it right very quickly by bringing me the ranch and gave me some of my money back (despite my trying to argue) and apologized profusely. Top notch customer service! I will order again if I am ever back in the area. So refreshing to see a business care for their patrons. Thank you so much!

Great place. My family goes to Lake Geneva once a year for my son's birthday. It's a tradition of ours to go to the Waterpark and then here for dinner. Super nice people, incredible food and they're very accommodating. We shut down half the restaurant every time we go there, and they're always very nice about it.

We come up to LG a bunch and sometimes stay at the French Country Inn. Last night we ordered and the owner Nick personally delivered to us, again…staying at the FCI. The food was hot and really hit the spot. Thank you Nick for bringing out the food and saving us the trip. We have ordered from here before and will do again. Not too many people deliver, they do!! Good People and good hand made food!!

Waitress did not want to wait on us and that was quite obvious. We were a small party of six and there was a party of 10 or 12 she was more interested in. Which was her loss because we ordered alcohol and we tend to tip out 100% on our alcohol purchases. We only received part of our order. And when we asked the waitress where the rest of our order was she stated oh I didn't think you really wanted that so I didn't put it in. Food was cold and in one cases inedible. We ordered a few advertisers one of which was onion rings which came out with four onion rings that were burnt

Literally the worst restaurant I've ever been to & the worst service I've ever had. Everyone was unfriendly from the beginning. We were nervous to ask for things because the waitress was so lazy and rude. The calamari wasn't fully cooked, our cheese bread sat for 7 minutes so it was cold, but also burnt from the kitchen.
Not sure how the place is still running, but do not go there. We didn't read reviews before going. Lesson learned.

We ordered from DoorDash and it was absolutely horrible. It took almost two hours for us to get our delivery and it was not an issue with DoorDash, it was the restaurant. It took almost an hour for them to even confirm the order with DoorDash. The first dasher waited about 15 minutes before canceling and then the second dasher waited about 20 minutes. When we finally did get the food, it was cold and my husband didn't get what he ordered which was spaghetti with meat sauce. I've had a few good experiences with here but, this last one was quite bad. Kitchen staff was using vulgar language loudly enough to everyone to hear. I ordered a soup with came in a salad contain with barely anything in there, still paid full price for. Cheese curds were very little in how many received, there was 15 to count. Side salad has all this browning on the lettuce itself. Overall a pretty big nightmare

At first I thought this place was going to be really bland and boring but as soon as I took my first bite I knew what I was thinking was wrong. The food was super flavorful and came out hot and ready for all of us to eat at the same time. The food didn't take long and everything came out great. The hospitality was almost as amazing as the food and all the staff was really friendly. Definitely would recommend.

The tiramisu and cheesecake were the best things out of what we had here. They forgot our order of bruschetta which was disappointing - we did delivery. I don't think I will be coming back here for pizza and their other dinner foods, but the desserts were very good; so if you have a sweet tooth then give them a try.

Ordered a 24" Primo Stuffed Pizza w/o mushrooms on Valentines Day evening. Order arrived in good time and we tipped $9 on a $41 order, but as we're eating we realize there was no pepperoni. We call in and the older woman who answers the phone was very rude asking 'well what do you want me to do? We'll make it right next time.' Another younger woman takes the phone and has offered a discount on our next order. If we order again and service/quality has improved, I'll update my review. As it is tho, I am not impressed. When here last weekend. Mama Ciminos is located in the heart of downtown Lake Geneva. Stopped here to satisfy my pasta craving. The Rigatoni was fresh and hot, however it was nothing special. For the staff that is on duty, the preparation and finished product to the customer shouldn't take as long as it did. In the summertime they may get a lot of business because of the tourists, and Chicago crowd, but in the Winter months not so much. The prices are high for the quality and quantity you receive.

Went there for dinner last night. Ordered 2 pizzas for the 4 of us and a large salad Service was good, Only one other couple eating when we arrived and one takeout for the entire time we were there- Friday night around 7pm.
