After immense initial success, three years later, Chihuahua's was able to expand to its current location off of Melarky and Giroux St.

The WORST food I ever eat there, my family got sick after eat the food, it's taste like fake , old , not delicious at all, it's like posion food and salsa is not even real food. I only ate one flour beef fatijia then 2nd and I almost threw up I spit it in out in the napkin. Yuck. The meat is hard to chew forever like beef jerky. It's fake salsa I ever taste in my life , I went there for first time and hopefully it will be good .. my boyfriend said it is nasty. So we test it first time. He is right. I think the inspector need to come and check it out inside the refrigerator something is wrong there

The chips are horrid...super generic salsa. The tiny tacos on Taco Tuesday were good...the El Pastor taco was great. The salsa that came with the tacos was spicy goodness.. Generic beer selection at best. Well decorated, beautiful lights, & great music.

The food is ok, the fajitas need more chicken on top. The chimichangas had grounded beef but let me tell you it was too salty. They need to cut down the salt. The quesadilla was too cheesy, need more meat in it. Overall, it's just ok. But not the best.

A first everything came out great. The waitress took our order, got us our drinks and the food was alright. Then came down to the dozen of oysters we ordered and they were just big, nasty and definitely were not as fresh as they say. Had a few of them and just had to stop. Didn’t not finished them. On top of that, after the waitress took our order she disappeared and didn’t not check back with us at all! I had to get up and look for her to ask for more water, salt and napkins which is very disappointing customer service. For the total price we paid overall, definitely not worth it!! You can

**** update to owners response. As stated earlier, I tried the nachos right away. Did not eat them at home.***
Worst nachos ever. The house made tortilla chips are not good. There was no taste, no signature flavor for the nacho topping. That is unusual for this type of restaurant. The carne asada was too salty and too chewy. Expensive too. $15 and only ate a couple bites. Order was takeaway.*****I tried them right away.

The portions are definitely satisfying, and I really enjoyed the fajitas. I felt the prices were pretty reasonable given the area, and I felt the service was great. Everyone was very attentive and I felt welcome to sit and enjoy a meal even by myself 😊 the only thing I did not like were the chips and salsa which I felt were a little bland. Maybe I'd the salsa was a little spicy I would have enjoyed it. Other then thag overall, I really enjoyed me experience.

Had dinner at Chihuahua’s which was not very busy for a Saturday. The meal came out quickly, was hot, and tasted a bit less than expected. However, before I was able to finish my meal, the other plates and dishes we finished using were whisked away as they expected the restaurant to get busy!! Hospitality was therefore not good 😡

Very good waitstaff. Food was good but not like texmex. Still good though. You have a short wait to be seated but its not bad. I understand this is more authentic Mexican recipes. I am a chef who studied under Wolf Gang Puck's apprentice. I have my own seasoning sold all over Texas and Mexico and have taught cooking segments on Waco television. I'm into all kinds of food and am just a bigger fan of texmex because the flavors are more intense 😋
