WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER EXPERIENCED. (India Garden , at Festival of Bel Air)
Visited with my family for dinner, since it was an anniversary of my parents. First we placed an order via phone that we will be there at specific date: time, once reached there, an attendant got shocked and acted there was no such order than quickly went to computer and said “oh yes” there’s an order. Second, while we received our food it was horrible. It was tasteless and not up to the mark. On complaining to the manager, which he acted he’s the owner of an restaurant, he was too arrogant to pay heed to

July 2021 lunch buffet is back. Including rice, naan & two desserts, 12 of the 16 items on the buffet are vegetarian. My wife was quite pleased with a vegetarian options. Loved the lentils dish & palak paneer.
But I have to give them four stars because I'm a meat eater & their curry chicken and tikka masala both had white meat that was overcooked and dried out. Was hard to eat. Their tandoori chicken was pretty good and moist.
They had some nice fresh fruit and chutneys selection.

Remarkable surprise. Unpretentious storefront mall setting, but worth a detour and a repeat visit. Service is prompt, friendly and informative. Portions are more than ample. Prices are low, and taste and value are high. Three of us ordered differently and each of us agreed on all metrics. We lingered over dinner because of the overall pleasure factor. Regretfully, it's not local to us or we'd definitely be back.

Truly some of the best Indian food I've ever had. The atmosphere of this place is beautiful. They mean it when they say fine dining. There are beautiful Indian paintings and architecture in the restaurants interior. The menu has a wide variety of options including a plethora of vegan and dairy free options. The customer service is phenomenal. The servers really care for the customers and serve you with a smile. The food is out of this world. Everyone that I ate with said it was the best Indian food that they have had so far. It was incredibly fresh and delicious.

Their lunch buffet is open again! We went today and very much enjoyed it. About two-thirds of the buffet is vegan, with naan, chicken curry, chicken tika masala, tandoori chicken and rice pudding to round out the offerings. I liked the slightly-spicy pakoras and the vegetable dishes, and the chicken tika masala was good, though it was a little bland, and could have been spicier. The naan wasn't as chewy and charred as we're used to, but my dad liked the tandoori chicken and rice pudding.
The decor is bright and welcoming, and the tables and small bar were clean. Servers wore masks and

We've been here many times.. the food is good and flavorful. A bit pricy but you get pretty large portions. Recommend sharing. For beginners I highly recommend the chicken tiki masala and palak paneer with a side of naan. Vegetable samosa for an appetizer. Masala tea with some sugar for a hot drink. Don't forget to order some gulab jamun for dessert.

We ordered $50.00 worth of varied take-out. The good; ready on time, packaging, quantity. The bad; the food. Favor was very subpar, chicken dry and Samos was salt laden. Onion Kulchar had a terrible aftertaste. Tandoori Basil kebab caused intestinal issues. The next day my husband tried leftovers and had the same, bad. We will not return.

With COVID knocking out all of the buffets, I haven't had Indian food in months, until India Garden. It was a good return to form. My friend had the tofu saag (mostly saag, which would have been disappointing if it was paneer and I had ordered it), and her husband had the tikka masala (which also looked mostly like sauce, but I didn't examine that closely). I had the lamb kadai, and that had a good amount of meat cooked right, all tender cuts, no extra fat, no bones. I asked for it extra spicy and it actually did get me sweating a bit, which exceeded expectations. We each got a generous

Delicious food. Samosa are huge and fully stuffed, albeit somewhat salty. All of our vegetarian and vegan meals were enjoyable and a little sweet. The level of spiciness was perfect (we chose #4).
We ordered online from the parking lot and they were supposed to call when the food was ready but they didn't call. It was necessary to go in the restaurant to pay (and get the food).

Located in the Festival shopping center, you can't beat their lunch buffet.
The buffet always has Samosas & Pakoras as starters. Tandoori Chicken, various Curry/ Saags, Vindaloo & Tikka Massala are also rotated. Two types of rice: Basmati & Kashmiri.
Quality & taste are consistent & the lunch buffet (all you care to eat) is a bargain at $13.95 vs ordering off the menu. They do have buffet takeaway where you can self serve using a takeaway container. Naan is excellent!
Service has always been friendly. The spot for Indian food in Bel Air!

I wanted to like it, honest. This was my first visit, and Yelp seldom hands me a dud but. The waiter was nice and helpful, but meh. The food was lukewarm and flavorless. The baingan bartha was grey and bland. The chana masala was mushy, didn't know that was even possible. The biggest factor for me was that the food temperature was really troubling. Buffet or not food should be hot. If you must have it, order off the menu, give the buffet a hard pass
