Approximately 180,000 back surgeries are performed each year in the United States. The intervertebral disc is a special type of cartilage that connects and cushions the 24 bones of your spinal column. Each disc attaches to the vertebra above and below it. This provides the proper spacing for pairs of nerve roots to exit the spine from between each joint. Each spinal disc has a jelly-like "ball bearing" core that is contained by bands of fibrous tissue.

Finding Dr. Perazza (lucky accident) this year has been life changing for me, I've had neck/shoulder pain/muscle tension that has been getting progressively worse over the last 15 years and it was never diagnosed. I tried everything from chiropractic to acupuncture to dry needling (ouch) with no success. Little did I know how important my ATLAS is and very few chiropractors have additional training or the expensive table necessary to deal with this issue. He took X-Rays and explained in detail everything to me before my first ATLAS adjustment. I was pain free in a few weeks - it's truly been like

Amazing experience. Dr. Mario took his time to explain to me what was my situation. He was very detailed and thorough with everything I need to do in order to alleviate and reduce my back issues. He did a fantastic job with cracking my back and I felt relief just after a few minutes. Amazing! Definitely going to go back ASAP!!

Dr. Mario is outstanding and he made my first visit to see a chiropractor so comfortable! He also informed me of everything I needed to know as well as some small exercises I can do to help me. Dr Mario is an outstanding chiropractor and well worth a visit. He has the latest technology, spends a lot of time making sure he addresses all of your issues, and is extremely effective in resolving them.
I've gone in with severe neck and back pain that I thought was going to keep me down for weeks and felt substantially better by the time I walked out the door.

Dr. Mario has been a godsend. I came in with acute pain, barely able to walk. That’s all gone. He was thorough with his x-rays and was upfront about what he could treat and what I should get examined elsewhere. The effects of the treatments have been great, and he gave me great advice about how to stay healthier overall. Follow-ups show marked improvement.
