Edit 2: they did reply thankfully, but i called them multiple times during business hours but to no avail. i work at an auto shop now, and it’s almost satisfying when i tell anyone i can to steer clear of them.

awful, awful experience. they didn’t put a gasket on my oil filter. i wish i was joking, but it fell clean off when i was working on my car afterwards (far away from the filter). no sign of a gasket anywhere. i went to go change my oil afterwards since all of it had emptied all over my garage, only to discover that the

I have known Denny's Auto from way back in 1972 when "Denny" the owner helped me when I lived in Kearns with my old cars. This guy helped us kids to learn the word trust and respect and here is why. Denny knew us teenagers did not have much money to fix our Cars and he told us pay him what you can and bring the rest in when you get paid. We did pay our bill with Denny and his lesson was trust in others. The credit line over the years has ended but his dedicated repairs of high quality work by his mechanics still continues today. Sunday my truck just decided to stop turning. Luckily I wasn't on the road. I was for reals blaming the oil shop for not filling up my power steering fluid. My bad! I kept filling it up and noticed that I kept emptying out too quick. Monday morning I had to crank my steering wheel to get my kids to school. I ended up stopping at a gas station. There I called a tow truck. They took me to jiffy lube. Jiffy lube did their inspection and power steering fluid just came shooting out of the tie rod area. They were very busy but were still able to finish my vehicle ahead of the quoted time. I appreciate the thorough and informative inspection they provide no matter what the vehicle goes in for. The A/C in my truck now blows cold again. Somehow the hood latch cable got cut while being serviced, but they replaced it free quickly and without hassle. I've known shops that would have argued and tried to pass it off or charge extra for something like that. I really appreciate the honesty and will be back next time I need something fixed.

Well, what can I say. I called to set an appointment and told me they had a loaner car. Showed up on time they didn't have the loaner car. I told them over the phone and in person that I needed 2 oil pan gaskets upper and lower. They told me they probably won't get to it today. What's the point of you telling when to bring it? They got an Uber to drive me home. They called later to say it will be a crazy amount of money and it needs what I told them it needed. I said I will do it myself rather than spend 1850.00. So of course they charged me a diagnostic fee of 105.00 for "confirming

I just moved here from Tennessee and was having trouble putting my plates on since I didn't need a front plate in Tennessee . I called Denny's and they said they could help me. I went and within minutes both plates were on. Very friendly and helpful and I will go back if I need anything done on my car because of the helpful and friendly service! My daughter and I had our new tires put on by the guys there yesterday and when they had a little hiccup with a machine, they offered me a loaner car to help get us home! No BS here. These guys truly go above and beyond!
Christian even put the car seat in the loaner car for me!
Definitely a great place that has gained my trust!

Definitely not what they used to be. I won't be taking my truck here again. I had a lube oil and filter among other things done. 125 miles later I go to look at my fluids and nearly everything is low. Please note I have no leaks, no issues. I am finding somewhere else to go this is just unacceptable. Too bad this place I used to trust completely withmy truck repairs.

WARNING: I brought my civic in for a brake inspection and they said I needed a replacement of the front brakes and work on the back brakes. Being the good consumer I am, I ALWAYS get a second opinion and took it Jiffy Lubes in South Jordan (the full service one) - NOTHING was wrong with my brakes, it was just brake dust and Jiffy Lube was HONEST enough to tell me that. Denny's tried to charge me $700 for FAKE WORK. WARNING - before you just say yes to Denny's get a 2nd or 3rd quote before you pay these SCAMMER "mechanics".

I went here because of reviews. The work seemed ok but very expensive. My pully broke off and they had to reattach it. When it broke off it caused my engine to overheat and coolant went everywhere. They had to replace a piece for the oil inlet and replace the pully. When I got my car back I found that they didn't even bother to add more oil or coolant to the engine. Luckily I checked when I got home and added more before there was a bigger issue. I will not be back.

This is my second time coming to Denny's auto and while they are very nice and friendly, it honestly took forever! It took over and hour and a half both times just to get my oil changed when I came in with a scheduled appointment. That's 90+ minutes to get an oil change while I sat in the waiting room... Price is above average which I'm fine paying, but just the insane wait time is what will keep me from coming back here again. $70 for an oil change and they don't even vacuum your car. Not good.

I'm traveling from Colorado to the northwest. My check engine light came on. I called Denny's to see if they can give me a check engine light check. Mitch was very polite and got me in right away. He checked the codes and ensured me my car would make it to its final destination. All of this, free of charge. They could have really taken advantage of me. Yet they didn't! Great shop, great service!
