The phone number for "NICKERSON INSURANCE SERVICES, INC" is a PRIVATE PHONE LINE FOR a Angel Romero. The recording I receive when I call does not even mention Nickerson Insurance. My phone calls have been forwarded to a private answering machine. End result. I cannot reach Nickerson for a very important policy change due to my husband's death.

I was stuck in a loop of trying to untangle a car insurance mess that was created when our attention was on Covid & the stresses we're all under. I was very lucky that today Maria answered the phone when I called. My husband is currently in ICU, so car insurance isn't exactly top of the list of things I want to be dealing with. We were long time customers, but felt like the company didn't have any interest in saving us money or just in us as a customer in general. I got too comfortable with Mercury Insurance & was amazed at the current rates of other insurance companies. I am now saving over $130 per month with another company with the SAME coverage I had at Mercury. When I called to cancel, they seemed all to glad to let me go. No questions on how they could keep my business. They must not need my business since they must be overcharging all their other customers. Tip: Do your research & shop around.

Do not deal with this insurance company. Especially Lydia. They are condescending and do not tell the whole truth. Brianna, Lydia's boss did not inform me of 10% fee due cancelling my policy. It's 10% of the entire policy amount! Then when I tried to ask her why my refund wasn't correct, she brushed me off and told me to call mercury instead. Shady business by Nickerson and mercury.

Army Reyes at Nickerson is outstanding. She is professional, knowledgeable, responsive, competent, patient in explaining aspects of the insurance business to clients, and she's a rare pro who has a heart and a great sense of humor. I have been an auto insurance customer of nickerson for many years. They have been wonderful to deal with until I my wife had her accident. They handled the claim good but when the car was repaired we had to tow it to the office for them to inspect causing us to hire a tow truck or drive without insurance for the inspection.
Many years ago I had a car repaired and my old insurance company said they would bond the car for the short drive to the inspection and no tow truck needed.

Nicole T is one of the best agents I have ever worked with in any industry, and seeing as auto insurance is something I have no familiarity with, working with her has been especially relieving! She is incredibly good at breaking down the processes involving savings & returns, increases in cost, etc. There have also been a few instances in which I forget to make a payment on time, and she always reaches out to me with a timeline to maximize and maintain my coverage.
