Had the shepherds pie, it was tasty but a little dry. The clam chowder was excellent. Will definitely come back here and try their steak tips

The pub food here is top-notch. Very good burger (and cooked correctly). Salmon salad was also nice. The clam chowder was authentic and good.

My wife and my two little ones had a great meal! Waitress fantastic! We sat on the pub side and found it very rustic and gave you great feel of the town. Definitely a local favorite. Burgers were great and pizza too! Highly reccomend!

One of the best(if not the best) fried clams we have had.
Got there early (4:30) so no waiting. We sat at a high top table in the bar. Lots of energy in the bar ( but not to loud).
We originally ordered two clam plates but it was noted that we get the same amount of clams as an appetizer without fries and onion rings. So we ordered one of each and shared the fries and onion rings from the plate.
The dishes came out nice and hot. The clams were large with lots of clam bellies and they had a great tasting batter. The fries and onion rings were nice a crispy.
Right from when we walked in the staff

Next to historic Choate Bridge. Was in the mood for seafood and stopped in for lunch. My clam chowder and clam plate were delicious, very generous size, did not disappoint.

Let me just say this, I've heard a lot about this place through friends. Besides the food being very good, huge portions and a good cocktails.
The customer service and whole staff are so friendly and genuine. Our waitress Pam was literally the best waitress I have ever had in all my years of dining out. I can't say enough. When you go out and spend $100 the last thing I want is service with an attitude.
Thank you Pam! We'll be back!

Excellent place for fresh, local fare. We started with the fried clam appetizer plate, which was enough for 4 people. The clams were hot and delicious. Local Ipswich clams! 3 of us had the fried haddock sandwich with fries, and a hot pastrami sandwich. Everything was great. Our server was funny and friendly. I'd go back again.

The newly expanded dining room creates an open and inviting atmosphere. The food here is always excellent and is in my opinion one of the best on the North Shore. Get the mixed grille (pictured); it comes with grilled steak, pork, chicken, and 2 sides.
