The Carthens Law Firm
I retained Ms. Cathens immediately following an appointment with another Fayetteville attorney who had forgotten my pre-paid appointment. From my car, I called around and no one could see me. I found Ms. Cathens on google, called and her assistant said "come on over". I met with and retained her that day and within 30 days my divorce was finalized.

At the time when I needed legal guidance, I turned to Carthens Law Firm and she represented me according to the situation I had. Ms. Carthens represented me in the court of law, and fortunately, my life has changed for the better. Now, I can live on with my life not worrying about the consequences from my legal matters.

While the law requires that the parties be separated for one year before a divorce can be granted, the law allows the parties to address all other issues as it relates to the divorce prior to the divorce being granted. For example, the parties may file for custody, support, spousal support and property division immediately upon separating.
When determining whether to award alimony, the court must first determine whether there is a dependent spouse, and a supporting spouse. Next, the court will determine whether alimony is equitable after considering all relevant factors. The amount of alimony that you may be eligible to receive or required to pay is in the discretion of the court.

This law office is a scam. I'm the opposing party of someone Mrs. Carthens is representing for a custody case. I… received paperwork in the mail breaking down joint custody rights but was never given a court date so that I could attend the hearing! I went to the court house to dispute the claim and to question the fact I never received paperwork with a court date. They then told me that Mrs. Catherine was responsible of making sure I received the court date and basically it was nothing more they could do! The Court adminstrator also tell me that the original Court date had been postpone
