Services
Our work is rooted in the understanding that well being and joy in life is deeply tied to engaging in self-directed, creative endeavor in a safe environment. We do this with a strong sense of connection to our human and natural community. Each distinct nature playscape design grows from each unique community.
Public recreation providers are often looking for a new way to attract their user base through play, nature connection and hands-on engagement. Some communities are asking for nature play and providers are left to figure out the details. We help providers find success through knowledgeable design as well as carefully discussions about materials choices and maintaining a safe play environment.
Our design classes let students take charge of their learning spaces. The STEM based classes focus on design with students and are fun and tech heavy. The most rewarding part is the ownership and stewardship of the students at the end of the process. This is their design, and their ideas. From base map creation to running workshops and drawing perspectives, the students drive the design.
