She was the eldest of ten children born to the late Robert and Geneva Arnold. Her mother, Geneva, died at the age of 37 when Virginia was only 17 years old. She worked hard helping her father take care of her siblings and working various jobs in the community. Her father later remarried Lucy Brown-Mann.

After high school Virginia went on to graduate from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with a degree in Business Administration. It was during this time that she met and married the love of her life, Orlando K. Perry, Sr. We are here to guide you through the creation of a service that reflects your values, preferences, and budget.

Mr. Sam Arnold and the Perry's Staff provided my mom and I with an amazing service and with so much compassion for our loss. My mom couldn't make it to the funeral home to make the arrangements because of her disability, so Perry's funeral sent Mr. Harold to our home. Mr. Harold made my mom feel happy that she could be part of preparing the arrangements for her son's service. It was bittersweet and sad when I viewed my brother before the service, but Perry's made my brother look so good! I was even pleased with their professionalism during the service. I didn't have to worry about anything, Perry

Horrible if you love your loved one go elsewhere. They made so many mistakes including forgetting to pick up the immediate family members literally made them late for the funeral. Didn't recieved everything paid for prayer cards and such. Staff rude an unprofessional. Staff looked dirty with worn clothing. To MUCH back and forth the lady in the office knows nothing and forgets everything nothing good to. 👎

I cannot legitimately offer this one star. There wasn't any Professionalism nor Respect given to my family, nor the deceased. The Funeral Director, Samuel Arnold, lied to my family, scheduled us for a final goodbye viewing, only to take matters into his own hands, and cremated our loved one the day before, and never contacted the family. Mr. Arnold didn't even apologize, that would mean he did something wrong. That's how dishonrable, disrepectful and unprofessional Perry's Funeral Home treated the remains of my dear sister and our family. Professionalism, Dignity, and Respect should always remain

My family's experience with Perry's was nothing short of EXEMPLARY! Especially considering the circumstances. These are the most compassionate and loving people ever. And that's keeping it real. 💯 Everyone there made our family feel so special 💖, like we were the only family there. We felt safe and secure in the fact that my husband was being handled with dignity, respect, and compassion. They were detail oriented, and remembered things that we forgot. Every "i" was dotted and every "t" was crossed. Pastor Corprew worked with us on making sure our music was playing when it was supposed to

If I could leave ZERO stars trust me I would. This was the most unprofessional place I have ever witnessed. My family arranged my grandfathers services with them and I guess because there wasn’t a huge pay out in it for them our grieving didn’t matter. I mean they literally treated us as if we didn’t matter and in the process broke my grandmothers heart while she was already dealing with the stress of saying goodbye to her husband of over 50 years. During the quality check of the body we were treated as if we were a burden to them and even during the services while asking what certain paperwork

All staff member especially Sam and John Arnold were very professional and helpful. I have spoken to several different funeral director and they too were polite and helpful. They made the process so easy with their expert knowledge and advice. The ambiance and decor were very good along with the execution at the graveside...thank you.

My aunt (Marie Newberry-a pillow of the community, much loved, who lived 93 yrs,- remains were desecrated by this mortuary. Not one ounce of respect for her remains-which they presented as rotting & smelling in a plastic bag with her clothes on top of the remains for her relatives to preview. Relatives were only limited to 5-others who called to preview, were lied too and told that the immediate family were not allowing preview of remains and that she had been cremated. Do not send love ones to this mortuary!!!

They got the insurance check for my grandmother. TOLD the insurance company that it cost the whole amount of the policy. Which is false. Now I'm getting the run around for the balance. First the insurance company has to give it to me when they know they put in for the whole policy. Then I would be receiving a check and they would call me never got a call. But then got a call so I go to only be asked do I want the death cert. of course I paid for them. And the woman in finance wasn't there only to find out it a male that deals with finance This is a stressful situation and they are only making it

My father passed away and it was my first time using Perry's on a business level. Somewhat disappointed that the morning of the service which as at 10am, my family and friends had to wait in the lobby for 20 minutes. Apparently, there as another deceased body still in the chapel area and had to be removed. Mmm.. why wasn't that done before hand? We finally get in and find out the programs had an error and had to be reprinted. Then the record book was put out late and so nobody signed it and we were not able to send thank you cards. Then we opted to have a montage and that was delayed with them
