Since its inception, our clinic has striven to keep pace with the constantly evolving nature of veterinary medicine through an ongoing program of continuing education and a conscientious attempt to make use of the most modern instruments and equipment available. The very nature of our facility and the staff demands that we keep up with the most advanced aspects of veterinary care.
Like veterinary medicine itself, our hospital is constantly undergoing change. We have no intention of remaining stagnant in a profession of unlimited potential. As new equipment and techniques become available, it is our intention to keep up with these advances in both a continuing education basis, as well as, improvements to our physical facilities.

Services
Ongoing proactive management of your pet's health is the object of our wellness program. Because pets age 7 times faster than we do, twice a year wellness examinations allow us to detect, treat and help correct problems before they become life-threatening. They also provide you with an opportunity to ask our veterinarian questions about nutrition, behavior, dental care, or other issues of concern about your pet.
Dr. Ezell is a Winter Haven native, and she first discovered veterinary medicine when she was a child in Winter Haven. Her mentor was Dr. Robert Adey, the founder of Cypress Animal Hospital. She joined our team in 2004 after graduating from UF, and she purchased the hospital in 2012. Her passion is strengthening the human animal bond with veterinary medicine.
10% off kitten or puppy spays or neuters if performed before they are 6 months old, and we have administered their vaccinations. 10% off the purchase of 12 doses of any combination of heartworm prevention or flea prevention. This is in addition to any manufacturer rebates available. Dogs love OraVet Chews, and you will too!
HOURS: Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:30 am until 5 pm and on Saturday 8:30 am until noon. We go by appointment. Please call the office and we will be happy to schedule an appointment for you. PAYMENT: Payment is due when services are rendered. We do take Wells Fargo Health Advantage and Care Credit as financial payment as well.

My pets have been established patients with this vet for just under a year. My husband took our senior cat in for an FVRCP vaccine and treatment for tapeworms (for which she had already been treated twice and is on flea prevention), and ended up with a $300 bill with little-to-no warning even when he asked for an itemized statement before services were provided. Unnecessary services were tacked on to the visit without explanation, and my husband's questions and concerns were answered in condescending tones. He's never worked in a vet office or the animal care field, but I have. I understand that
