COPE Family Support Center
Family Support Center celebrates 10 years of service to families of Contra Costa County. Our goal is to raise $50,000 dollars this year for our ten years of service to the community. Support us by giving on COPE's website. Give to a specific program by supporting C.O.P.E.'s mission to prevent child abuse and strengthen family relationships.

Working one-on-one, with families or in group with a therapist on issues such as depression, anxiety, stress and PTSD, anger management and more. The Triple P Positive Parenting Program has been demonstrated to prevent and treat problems in children by enhancing the knowledge, skills, and confidence of parents.
Services
C.O.P.E.'s mission is to strengthen family relationships through counseling options and parent education programs. We provide a safe space and supportive environment that nurtures families and encourages healthy relationships. C.O.P.E. was founded by the acting Executive Director, Cathy Botello, who has worked in the non-profit and county agencies for the past 20 years.
COPE Family Support Services is a 501c3 non-profit that serves all families which is made possible by federal and foundation-based grants along with help from generous donors. Your support makes our work possible because no one should have to manage family stress alone. Donating to our PayPal allows for direct monetary donations along with setting up generous monthly donations.
Cathy has worked in non-profit and county agencies for the past 20 years. With a degree a B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting, she started her career in the corporate world working in IT and Commercial Escrow. After a move from Texas to California, Cathy adopted a baby in 2004, a life changing decision that brought her to the non-profit world where she took a parenting class.
Parents learned about different parenting strategies such as exploring alternative strategies to improve community and creating a more positive relationship with their teen, setting goals with their teens, well as how important it is to monitor their students grades and attendance.

Students learned different life skills such as how tardies and attendance effect their daily routine and the consequences, how to work with their parents to resolve issues and what tools they can use to support their success. This was a great class and it will be available for parents again in the Fall of 2019.
Work one-on-one, with families or in a group with a therapist on issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder, anger management, life transitions, substance abuse, single or co-parenting, divorce mediation, and other personal or emotional issues to help you move forward in life and reach your goals.

Martha Suarez is Very Rude And Doesn't Really Care About Anyone In Her Class. She Doesn't Answer Any Questions That You May Have, She Will Just Re-Route The Question To Another Parent WHICH ISNT HELPFUL! That's Like A Depressed Person Trying To Help Me With Depression... Don't Waste Your Money

Its Inventive Not Practical. Tha People Who Signed Up For Tha Class (Just Like You) Are The Ones helping. However Martha Suarez And Amie Krey Are Extremely Helpful! It's Hard To Get To Everyone's Question During Class So I Recommend Writing Your Questions Down As They Arise And Ask After Class. To Me, That Works Better Because They Don't Have To Spare Time For Class, They Can Elaborate on answers to your question If necessary

This place was put in my lap by the family court system (wrongfully placed, but placed nonetheless) and I couldn't be happier. I will be enrolling in other courses independent because the support and glimpse into other parents struggling is just what we need sometimes.

After making all my payments, i get a text message 7 months after that some payments are due, such a scam, I wouldn’t recommend this facility to anyone.
Also if you are going to Dr. Razia Iqbal, I would save my time and money and not go to her, she doesn’t help but makes it worse for you and you end up feeling miserable after her session. AVOID her at any cost.
