We took out a policy, we called within the 14 day cooling off period. The systems were down and the clerk took our policy number down and said it would be cancelled. We are now arguing and being charged £117 to cancel. We don’t own the vehicle so we can’t insure something we don’t own. Their service is appalling and I will be advising all my friends and family to never use STERLING INSURANCE however cheap. It’s CHEAP service !!! Disgusting in these times that companies of this size treat individuals in this manner
