Services
The cervical (neck) and thoracic spine (upper back) are responsible for some of the most important of our activities of daily living. The most common conditions in this region of the spine include spinal joint (facet) arthritis, disc herniation with shooting pain into the arms, disc degeneration, and spinal stenosis.
The lumbar spine (low back) is one of the most commonly affected areas of a painful spine. All of the body's motion and forces are transmitted through this part of the spine. Some of the most common spinal conditions, among them herniated discs with sciatica, spinal stenosis and arthritis cause pain, numbness or tingling in the legs, difficulty walking or sitting, and even bowel or bladder issues.
The spine has to be viewed globally, even when sIntervention that does not take this into account can create future sources of back and neck pain. Overlooked deformity, whether it be side to side deformity (scoliosis), Vertebral slippage (Spondylolisthesis) or "hunchback deformity" (kyphosis) bones or discs can develop structural conditions that disrupt this harmony and this causes deformity of the spine.
When conservative modalities have failed, the Southern California orthopedic and Neurosurgical Spine Institute offers our patients diagnostic injections that allow for precise identification of the joint or nerve causing the pain. Such precise identification based on patient feedback, allows for evidence based discussion in recommendation and discussion of treatment options.

Unprofessional. My mother-in-law had a virtual appointment scheduled on 8/27/21 and they told her it would be between 1-3 pm. What kind of dump is this? Give someone a 2 hour frame to sit around waiting for you? Then 3 pm comes around and she is getting texts to her phone with misspellings saying there is a delay. Making things worse, she ended up not being seen. I will figure out it I can escalate this further.

Terrible office operation, if it even exists. We were given a 2 hour window during which the appointment will take place. I’ve never heard of this type of service. To make matters worse, the time passed and she was never seen. When you call the office, no ones picks up. It makes absolutely no sense. 5 hours later and still no response. Is this a real doctor’s office?
