The Family Italian Deli Pizzeria

Very nice all around, and worth a stop just to look in their wine cellar.

Our dinner and service was fabulous last night in the warm and cozy Italian restaurant that was beautifully decorated for the Christmas holidays. We enjoyed the scallops and risotto, veal medallions, lentil soup and complimentary bruschetta. We used Open Table to make the reservation, received a confirmation phone call that day and then they graciously accommodated us when we called to say we were stuck in traffic and running 15 minutes late. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable about the specials and wine pairings and made for a wonderful experience for my family.

We weren’t impressed with the dining experience. The food seemed very overpriced for the portions…my wife also had eggshell in her dish. Service could have been better…when we asked for a wine list after we were seated our waiter brought over a telephone-book-sized wine menu. After we asked for something more manageable he brought over a by-the-glass list, but we felt he should have led with that. The overall ambiance of the place was nice.

It’s been almost 30 years since I’ve moved away and have eaten here. I came back tonight with family and friends and felt right at home again. The food is incredible, the service was impeccable, and a complete 10 out of 10. I’m so glad we chose to return to an old favorite. We will be back much sooner than the last time.

Awesome place food was terrific I had a filet mignon veal medallions pork chops lamb chops bronzini fish everything was delicious with appetizers

Alright. If you want Italian and you want an amazing wine selection. This is what they have going for them. I would say that it's not the most cost effective place to have a nice glass of wine and dinner. Luckily I went during restaurant week and the fixed menu was pretty solid.
I had a pinot grigio that the waiter recommended. It was a really excellent suggestion and was very much what I was looking for. I had a dirty martini before that and it was pretty subpar. There were no olives, and it didn't really taste brine-y at all.
The food was good. I wasn't blown away but I would say it was tasty

This place is a must-stop. The most knowledgeable and friendly staff made our meal unforgettable. Without a doubt, the best meal I've ever had. By the way, the wine list is unreal!

Excellent food! Best Italian I’ve had yet in Philly. Service was top shelf and so was the house cab. Delicious! Atmosphere felt like you were in Italy and can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for the Amalfi coast on the Delaware. Lol

The atmosphere is great.
Service is wonderful and even more.
Food is amazing, and you can taste that it is made on the spot.
Menu is very interesting and they have a very impressive wine cellar.
Prices are reasonable for the quality you get.
To summarize - great experience and very recommended!
