My sister and I came to tour this nursing home among several in the area. I’m reviewing them as a potential family member in hopes that I can help other families. My dad passed before we could place him in a facility, but I believe that how a tour goes sets the tone for the rest of your experience at a place. We were not impressed and quite frankly, a bit scared. We overheard a few staff cursing loudly, there was a heavy smell of urine throughout the place and the worst part was, we waited for someone to give us a tour. Our tour was unscheduled and I truly understand that is our fault, but when

Some workers/CNAs are super great but very few are great. If your family member is dependent and has dementia DO NOT send them to this facility. They are awful!!! They might check once every four hours if at all. The food looks like they find whatever they can get their hands on and feed them. If there are more good reviews on here than bad reviews, I guarantee you that those reviews are fake!!! This place is just stealing money from the state because they do not care about those who depend on them for daily necessities. I wish I could give a zero because one is too high.

I arrived and was greeted by a receptionist in the lobby. With a warm smilr she provided me with the directions and details to get to my visit. The halls were clean, and free of trash and trays. The staff appeared friendly and helpful. I noticed there were no board with the names of the RN, LVN, CNA, and doctor for the day. Usually fresh water is passed out, I did not see no water pitcher or cup near bedside. I hope this infomation will be helpful and it will help the other visitors in the near future as well.

If I could give a 0 for a review I would. If you care about your loved one DO NOT send them here! No personal belongs are safe or sacred in this place and if your person has money on them, they wont for long. My person can and should get up and walk to the bathroom, but instead there is always a full urinal next to his bed, and he was wearing somebody else's clothes and his were gone!! And dont get me started about the staff caring in your face, but neglecting when your gone, plus they never have an answer for anything. This is not a place of "health" and "care".

I put an application here two days ago I was call in for an interview. When I get there a rude person from the business office was like we can not hire you because. You applied here before and did not show up when that was not even the case. She was very disrespectful and walk up like she was ready to fight. I would not recommend this unprofessional place under no circumstances for emoloyment

Great care and great attitude. Extremely accommodating to the family members who want to spend time with love ones. Very appreciative and attentive to the information from the family members. They put once my mother back on track and I am looking forward with hope to have her back home. Thank you all.

I would give Hillcrest 0 stars if it were possible. While not new or fancy, at first i thought it was a good place for my father in law, it seemed clean and well staffed.
But, as time went on, he developed some issues of a sensitive nature. I guess too much for them to handle, so they made up an excuse to send him to the hospital. He hadnt fallen or anything like that. Two days later, they refused to let him come back. Total blindsided eviction! The doctor, my husband and the social worker had to scramble to find another place that worked with medicare, his insurance, etc.

The center primarily focuses on MS rehabilitation and care. Hillcrest is a very sad and depressing place. I do not recommend this facility to anyone. The five star medicare rating is very misleading. My experience was very poor. The administrator and DON were misleading and ultimately untrustworthy.
I had a relative at Hillcrest. He was not ambulatory, but was able to be understood and could understand others. He was not incontinent. CNAs expected him to use diapers to relieve himself because they wouldn't make time to take him to the only toilet. I was yelled at multiple times by rude staff
