Our therapists all have extensive experience working with complex issues including depression and anxiety, trauma, addiction, family issues and youth and child mental health. We pride ourselves on culturally competent and compassionate care and strive to approach healing from an attitude of acceptance.
Addiction therapy is intended to help addicted individuals stop or manage their addiction. Types of addiction include chemical e.g. Treatment for addiction is available through Riversage Family Counseling. We offer several different modalities and approaches, and therapy can last for different lengths of time.
DBT is modified form of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), aimed at teaching individuals how to live in the moment, providing a "toolkit" of healthy ways to cope with stress, improve their relationships with others, and regulate their emotions.
