We ordered take out Hibachi which to me is pretty amazing. Soup, salad, and the main course at a reasonable price. Our only complaint is that vegetables were really just onions and mushrooms. Not a huge deal or anything, but more variety would have been preferred.

Very meh - The fried rice is just white rice with soy sauce. The portions are just medium-size. There’s barely any sauce on any of the meals. I was so excited to have found this place because it had a drive-through window to pick up online orders however will make sure never to go here again it’s way overpriced for subpar Japanese food

My wife, daughter and myself went to Sakura on a Friday afternoon before 3 and there were only a few customers. They have a lunch menu until 3,and then regular price. The food was excellent,the price wasn't bad and the waitress was wonderful!! If you haven't tried Sakura, give it a go, you'll like it. The atmosphere was very layed back and they have a sauce called yum yum sauce. It's well,yum yum!!

The last time I will EVER support this bussiness was tonight our waitress was short blonde head with glasses and I sit with nothing to drink for 15 minutes after asking twice for a drink when she came back to ask if I needed anything I said well yes a drink I've waited 15 minutes she popped off with a attitude saying okay u see I've been busy. LOL I order to go from here atleast once a week but NEVER again.

I ordered a sushi burrito as I had never heard of such a thing before. It was just a huge roll of sushi sliced in half. It was really good. The staff was friendly and the prices were fair. I would definitely go back if I'm ever in the area again.

Staff is always friendly and service is quick. Al of their menu items are delicious and they have some of the freshest sushi around! Their volcano shrimp is what keeps us going back!

They have some of the best customer service I've seen in Huntsville, the food matches the service. I love coming here with my friends and even late at night they serve us with a smile. Definitely one of my favorite Japanese places in Huntsville and hazel green.

Unappealing food, not hot, sushi rolled without skill (fell apart), tasteless rice, and I gagged on the spring roll it was so bad.
I ate here years ago on a regular basis and it was 3 stars. Ok, but unimpressive. Coming back to my hometown for a visit and we chose to take my sister here for her birthday. Really regret the choice. The food was meh to regrettable and the menu was it's own annoyance. It's been redesigned and the interior is lovely but the folders it's been put in do not allow it to open flat or even close to it and you're constantly fighting it.

Base on the reviews we thought we give this place a try. Don't let the pics I've uploaded fool you, this place is the worst attempt at Japanese cuisine I've had. The sushi was actually tasty, but the seafood was NOT fresh. Fishy smell and taste. If you are going to make sushi, FRESH is the key. We both ordered the Bento Box meals... nice presentation, but again, poor quality. The tempura shrimp was long and thin and greasy. Not sure how you make a shrimp that long? Not a huge fan but hey that doesn't mean you won't love it. I had the hibachi chicken and it had a glaze on it that I just didn't like. Salad didn't taste fresh. Sushi was ok.. but nothing to call home about.

The food is descent--especially for the price, typically. However, I was charged $7 extra to put my shrimp "on the side" rather than having them on my Udon. It was tacky and completely unnecessary, and I was told that "it was the only way we could ring it up." I will not be going back.

Sushi was awesome as always. Had special fried rice also was best we have had from anywhere so far. Very nice people working there. Will of course eat there again.

Overall an 8 out of 10. Good service with a very pleasant staff. Clean place with good food. First time we went there ordered a filet and a chicken dinner. The meat was great, the soup just ok, the salad dressing way better than normal but the big disappointment was the rice. Lightly fried and a drop of soy. We went back again and looking closer at the menu saw they had fried rice with egg and veggies for a $2 up charge. We ordered that and found the dish quite enjoyable. I'm leaving 2 stars because it wasn't overly priced. It was not very good, but it's better than eating fast food. (pending it doesn't make me sick) California rolls is what I ordered. They were not cold, but cool which to me makes a huge difference in the taste. The imitation crab that is used was VERY fishy. I'm honestly afraid I will be burping this up the remainder of the day. I was pretty desperate for some sushi one night and too lazy to make my own (which is way better) so I got the pink lady roll. The soy paper on the outside was rancid. How do I know it was rancid? We have only lived here in Jasper since January and it took until last weekend for us to finally try Sakura--and it's literally right across the street!

Granted, we did not dine-in, but my son got a different array of sushis to go. He was craving sushi and was tickled to death there was a Japanese restaurant so close.

Y'all, I've had sushi in some of the best places in Birmingham, and I personally think Sakura's was the best I've ever had. It was so fresh and light, not heavily riced or held together with some kind of weird mayonaissey stuff that some places do. it

The chef shows great potential; the egg roll could have been amazing and was fried to perfection. The hibachi steak and veggies were pretty good; the chicken was a little sweet.

The sushi was decent, tho the imitation crab stuff was blah.
