Hi, my name is Tiffany, and I do all the scheduling and billing for the office. I grew up here in West Jordan and graduated from Copper Hills High School in 2000. After graduation, I attended the Utah Institute of Dental Assisting. I began working for Dr. Johansen in 2011 and truly LOVE my job! I love to talk to all our patients and help them with any of their insurance and dental questions.
In 2004, I married the love of my life and we are very proud parents to our beautiful daughter, Olivia. I love to spend my free time with my family camping and riding our ATV. Hi, I'm Emily and I am a hygienist for Dr. Johansen. I was born to a family of 11 and raised in a rural farming community in Raft River, Idaho.

Hi, I am Dr. Eric Johansen and I am originally from North Ogden, Utah. After graduating from Weber High School, I served an LDS Church mission to Frankfurt, Germany. After my mission, I attended Brigham Young University and majored in Zoology with an emphasis in a Human Biology. I graduated from BYU in 1996, and graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry at San Francisco, California in 2000.

I've had many issues with Dr. Eric Johansen. I had a crown that broke and was replaced multiple times. My crown just broke a 3rd time and was told by my new dentist that it was not fitted correctly and that was why it broke. My insurance will not cover the replacement because it was replaced less than 5 years ago.
I also had pain with that crown/tooth for over 5 years that Dr. Johansen couldn't figure out how to fix. I had to have an elective root canal to get the pain to go away all to find out that he didn't do a good job on the crown.
Would not recommend Eric Johansen.

10/19/20- Still have yet to hear back from these guys about correcting my bill.

Right after I created this review, I get AN EMAIL, from this office telling me about my past due bill. First email I have ever received from them. So they can send me an fraudulent bill, but not reach out to me about it?

I went here 1 time last year. They looked at my teeth and that was it. I received a check up but no cleaning, the only thing I went in for. The nurse told me that the dentist had done so much cleaning that day, he was not doing any more. THAT IS THE MAIN REASON I

Long story short, I am now having to sell some of my belongings to pay off a huge bill from this place that finally decided to bill me a full year later "letting me know" that my insurance isn't covering any expenses EVEN AFTER I went in personally beforehand asking if my insurance would be accepted and would cover these expenses with them saying it would be. Honestly. It wouldn't have been a problem if they had notified me of this after the very first visit, but instead they decided to continue to set up more appointments and not letting me know until after my bill really

We switched to this dentist after I lost two fillings from the dentist I was going to. I hate going to the dentist but definitely not because of these wonderful people. Tiffany is an amazing receptionist who knows me and my family well. Dr. Johansen is personable and knows what he's doing, not to mention he's very funny. The hygenists are usually amazing, only the ones I don't know have ever made me slightly unhappy with my cleaning procedures, but the job gets done well and I have no specific or reoccurring complaints. Checkups aren't confusing at all as Dr. Johansen fills you in as necessary

We have been patients of Dr. Jo's for 7 years and have had 100% positive experiences with his office. Dr. Johansen has gone the extra mile in meeting our dental needs. On one occasion, he worked after hours to accommodate a special need we had. His hygeniests are kind and careful. The office staff has been efficient and prompt in assisting us with scheduling and billing questions.
We trust that Dr. Johansen informs us honestly of what treatments will be necessary and beneficial for our health, and he always supports our decisions about what dental treatments we choose to pursue.

Dr. Johansen is a great dentist. He is very honest and does a good job explaining what is happening in your mouth and what options you have. They are punctual and don't keep you waiting long either.
He seems to be a, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" kind of guy. I've had other dentists that just look for every possible thing they can get you to fix so they can get more money out of you. He put a "watch" on one of my teeth that has a small cavity-like indent over 5 years ago that was a "cavity we must fix" according to my previous dentist. It still doesn't need to be fixed, so he doesn't try to
