At Ferren Family Counseling, our mission is to help our community "Learn, Heal, Thrive." With two locations in the Memphis area - Midtown and Cordova - Ferren Family Counseling offers individual, family, couples and group counseling. We specialize in offering trauma-informed and client-centered care - personalized, high-quality care within an environment that promotes safety, empowerment, and healing.
Ferren Family Counseling is also available to provide training/ consultation services for your agency regarding a variety of topics, including sexual harassment, stress/ burnout management, conflict resolution, leadership/ supervision, and trauma informed care. Please contact us if you would like to schedule specialized training, clinical supervision, or consultation services, or you would like to include us as a vendor in your community event.
Lisa Hoyle is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Tennessee. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Memphis and received her Master of Science degree in Social Work, along with a Graduate Certificate in Trauma Treatment, from the University of Tennessee.
Sara Ross is a Nationally Certified Counselor with a history of working with adolescents, adults, and families. Sara earned her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Memphis. She has worked in the counseling field for over four years addressing mental health, trauma, and substance use/abuse in acute, residential, and outpatient settings.
Shadeau graduated from the University of Memphis and received her Master's degree in social work. Her professional experience includes working with children, adolescents, and families who have experienced trauma in a variety of placements, including hospitals, in-home, residential, and outpatient settings.
