While it was I understand the staff was tired after a busy season but if you are open the last day before closing it should be the same as opening.
We waited 10 minutes before anyone took our drink orders and 30 minutes later we were still waiting for our food order to be taken. We ended up up going to a more customer friendly and service oriented restaurant

We were coming back late from errands and looking for a place close to home for dinner. ( we are new to the area) We have been to OIFC for drinks and apps; but never dinner. I had the shrimp and grits and my husband had the yellowfin tuna tacos. The servings were plentiful and the food was flavorful and delicious!!
And the watermelon frozen daiquiri was great! Left with 3/4 of my entree because there was SO much..... looking forward to leftovers! We WILL BE BACK !!! Highly recommend ! Thanks for a great meal!

Just a dismal experience. Literally the least amount of effort made on their food. I ordered the yellowtail salad: canned fruit, bagged chopped romaine, tuna wasn’t cooked in the coating and it had no seasonings on the meat. It was completely unappetizing in appearance as well.
If you’re going to charge that much, you should at least be making an effort to serve quality food. Typical turn and burn tourist trap, they know you have few options so they exploit it.
Also. The place is filthy, a bar rag and a sani bucket to clean up after patrons would be a well needed touch.

On the flip side...it's still a pandemic. Not impressed with the lack of attention to safety. Staff do not wear masks. Most of the guests don't either. Our drinks were brought with no lid and the straw already in the cup. Um...did you unwrap it yourself? Or do you have a box of them that you just dug your hand down into and pulled one out.
Additionally, I almost walked out before we were seated but my husband was starved and it was late. We

This place was way more than I was expecting for a typical waterside restaurant. I was surprised at how good the food is. There are a lot of seafood options, I mean a LOT. All of our food arrived together, tasted great, and we didn’t wait long for it. We enjoyed a high quality meal overlooking the water in what has to be the best sunset view in the area. I will definitely be back

The food was as wonderful today as ever. We had a great server (Kayleigh) who was so sweet and accommodating. Mom had the Coconut Shrimp salad and said the berries and veggies were so fresh! My Dad, had the Blackened Chicken Sandwich with bacon. He's hard to please but he said it was really good! I had calamari and it was light and crispy with a wonderful taste!

A few of us went for went for the happy hour sushi. I am not a picky eater, but I know how to make sushi and do basic seasoning. The first time I made sushi using a YouTube video it both looked and tasted better then this. This not sushi. The rice was not seasoned with anything (Mirin/sugar and vinegar) and was mushy, the nigiri eel was so dehydated and unappetizing my boyfriend didn't eat it, and one of the rolls was made of macerated shrimp and I think shiracha. We ended up making a face with it on our sushi plate because we didn't know what to do with the rest of it.

I was not impressed, but I thought I would share my table mates opinions as well.
The ribs were good, not fall off the bone good, but better than good, good.
Another person ordered the ribs, "the sauce was piled on sweet." So they said.
Two ordered the shrimp and crab role. The taste was not something I was used to, the citrus was a bit too much. We left slightly happy, but TBH we were built up from friends hype and the meal did not meet the hype.
3.5 is all I got for this visit.

So so disappointed in the tiki bar and the Ocean Isle Fish Company. We went there for my nephews 21st birthday. We were treated with such vitriol and the bartender would not serve him. He said he would not even scan it because the three year old license had slightly tattered edges. We thought he was joking, then he started being really nasty! We told the manager and walked across the parking lot to Sharky's and had great service and a great time! Thanks Sharky's for saving the big day!

This is one of my favorite spots in OIB. You can't beat the view. Sadly they have changed the menu a bit--no longer allowing double clams on the Captain's platter and they've removed their seafood pasta dish that was out of this world. The food was still so satisfying and delicious. The server we had wasn't very personable sadly, but overall this little gem off the bridge is fantastic eat on OIB.

The views here are wonderful. Service is ok. It can be a little slow - it is a big place.
Food is typically good, not great, but pretty good. It is worth a visit for the rooftop views and a cold brew. Sushi is fresh. We enjoyed rolls during happy hour. I wish I tried the fried shrimp tacos. Those looked great.
Ambiance is perfect for a beach-y vibe and cocktails or cold brews.

Good first: food is fine, I've been working remotely for a week in a rental around the area and we've had OIFC a few times. The fried dishes are fairly good. Not greasy, and the oil doesn't smell or taste weird. Their sushi is also surprisingly good,and one of the few places where I tasted what seemed like fresh crab. The apps were great too. If I were rating this just on food it'd be a solid 4.

Came in with low expectations due to the Yelp stars. Turned out to be very impressed with the food and the service, inspite of the waitress dousing 2 of our party with ice waters as she was handing them out to our party of 14 when the last 3 made their best attempt to fly off the tray.
Started with a soft shell crab atop a bloody Mary. Never had soft shell crab, but it was delicious, as was the bloody. Nice and thick, with a little Texas Pete tossed in for good measure.
Ordered the tuna tacos for dinner. Most excellent. Wasabi drizzle was crazy good!

With COVID, we opted to wear a mask and eat outside, but many other patrons and EVEN STAFF were not wearing masks. I'm unsure of how the situation was inside, but hopefully socially distanced and safe. They did have disposable silverware, which was appreciated.
We ordered the old bay seafood dip, conch fritters, fish and chips, coconut shrimp salad, crab cake entree, and soft shell crab sandwich. Everything was extremely mediocre, with conch fritters
