Being late and ending sessions early became more frequent as the time went on. She even changed the time of an appointment without asking me only to let me know an hour beforehand. I felt boundaries were crossed when too much opinion and personal stories consumed the entire appointment hour. During some appointments, the whole hour was filled with a visual exercise that I told her many times was not working for me. She could never remember what we had talked about in previous sessions or the main reasons I needed therapy. I put a lot of time and thought into filling out the pre-client paperwork

When you walk into Mind Oasis, you are welcome to a waiting room that is a comforting spa-like environment complete with adult coffee/hot cocoa, super comfortable couch, and even adult coloring books with gel pens. In her office, there are comfortable couches and chairs, along with soothing music and diffusing oils. After a long day at work, I welcome the calm and relaxing environment.
Amy truly cares about each and every person she counsels and is one of the few people that I can trust. During our sessions, I do not find myself rambling like I did with previous counselors, even though it is welcome

My life has definitely changed for the better. I put off counseling for at least 10 years thought I was too much trouble to be helped. That's not true. Amy has helped me identify and work through all of my struggles. Her space is very welcoming and inviting! I am very comfortable talking to Amy. She has gotten to know me and comes up with great ways to work through everything. She also offers group sessions, painting classes, and yoga, she cares about improving women and children's lives. She has helped me reverse twenty years of damage I was living with. Thank you Amy!

I am really comfortable with Amy and Mind Oasis is instantly relaxing the moment you walk in. I've put off counseling forever because I'm not crazy about talking to someone I'm not comfortable with. I found that Amy is very easy to talk to and she wants to heal her clients, which is what drew me to Mind Oasis. So happy I made this decision!

Amy is an amazing resource for women! She is so knowledgeable and truly cares about the well being of her clients. She's great for all walks of life, from just needing someone to guide you in relaxation techniques to a full on counselor to help with life's difficult situations and transitions. She's so easy to talk to, and connect with! She's a mom who understands life's craziness and upredictability and therefore is accommodating with schedule changes. You won't be disappointed in meeting with Amy!

I would recommend her to anyone, and anyone with children. She is very kind, sweet, patient, and nice. But, she knows how to teach too. The moment you walk in the door you will feel at ease, and very comfortable.
