Modified Bitumen (MB) Torch Down Roofing is an asphalt-based, close cousin of the Built-up-Roof (BUR) roofing systems designed for buildings with low-slope or "flat" roofing structures. I put off getting a new roof due to the expense and the anticipated disruption, that is until it started raining indoors and really had no choice after several years of roof patching. I got several bids, but decided on RC Roofing.
When Nick first came here, he spent a lot of time looking over the roof, measuring, and explaining to me what to expect and what might need to be done in areas that weren't yet uncovered. I got three quotes to redo our roof. One came in so cheap I didn't trust it. Another was from a company that acted like used car salesmen. RC wasn't the cheapest, but they had the most thorough proposal, worked with us on the price, and did a great job overall. They were up front about everything and completed the work quickly. Highly recommend.

RC Roofing replaced my detached, large, leaky garage roof at the end of June. The entire process was excellent. Would highly recommend their services. Nick, the estimator, was great to work with as was Rick, the owner. The crew were hard working and did a great clean-up job. I was contacted in a timely manner throughout the entire process. I love the new skylights that were installed. I appreciate their professionalism and job well done.

I highly recommend calling this company for any roofing work needed. Nick was very responsive and went out of the way to help. He spent a lot of time answering all my questions. I talked with several companies and ended up going with a different company due to them being able to move my unique solar panels. If it wasn't for this issue I would have definitely gone with this company. They offered a very competitive proposal that included high quality materials.

RC Roofing replaced our roof. We needed the felt replaced due to leaks. We chose to use this opportunity to change the tile at the same time. What a wonderful improvement to the house.
Rick of RC roofing explained the job clearly, offered good advice on color and other options, and took time to answer all our questions. His team installed the roof from start to finish in less than one week. The roof was uncovered without paper for only 12 hours. RC roofing just completed two jobs for my home. I had some skylights installed by Skylight Pros; Skylight Pros recommended RC roofing so we contracted with RC as suggested. We did get one other quote and the price was competitive and actually just under the other recommended roofer. Skylight pro's installed 5 skylights for me, and RC roofing replaced the tiles on that roof system. We had been considering doing some work on our front roof, and since they did such a great job in the back we asked them to also add a new section of roof in the front of our home. Make sure to read the small print re attic cleanup. He won't clean up massive debris left from reroof out of the attic during work. Never heard of putting that in an agreement. A good contractor would point that out.
I was also disappointed, after my initial great review, to hear his worker urinated in the street by my neighbor.

Met with them (and 5+ other roofers) and he knew roofing for sure, but was surprised that their bid was nearly double nearly all of the others. Politely emailed if there might be a more economical option and never heard back. Perhaps they were just too busy? Perhaps a huge overpriced estimate is just their polite way to turn down a job? Either way .... we obviously went with someone else.

There is a reason they have all these 5 star reviews. Fantastic job! All the guys showed up everyday, on time! Worked all day! Cleaned up the job each day before they left! I know all these things seem like normal work things, but trust me, I've had a couple of projects here at home and it's been my experience that they get a job started and then disappear, or work for 2 or 3 hours. Not only did they work all day, but I have to say that all the guys that worked at my house were super friendly and also answered my questions I had about certain areas of the roof. So, I'm jumping

Called them to ask if they to assessments for skylight leaks. I was told they did and they scheduled something three weeks later because they are terribly busy. I understood and had them come out. Well apparently the leak was not worth their time because someone came to the house and said they would email us an estimate. I haven't hard back from them. It seems they only care about big projects like other companies and they don't even have the decency to tell you that over the phone. Complete waste of time. Keep that in mind! I would encourage them to include that as part of their advertising
