Brookstone

I lived here for 12 years!!!.....moved in with old carpets..( who knows how old)..they never changed them....had 2 flooding issues they still never changed my carpets..they just put a FAN on them to dry it out!!!!!...i told them 5-6 times the carpets needs fixed and tried to tell me i had to pay for it myself!!!...---i thought carpets had a lifespan and had to be changed every 6-7 years!!!!! then i move out and they try to charge me for there own issues they never delt with!!! 1200$$ because they are lazy......

Only reason I didn’t give it zero stars is because I had to give it a rating. Nothing ever works. My AC has been out for a while now ( I live on the top floor so It’s a nice cool 85° in here) I can’t open my windows because if I do a swarm of stink bugs will come inside. The walls are thin, the hallways always smell and look gross. If you’re thinking about moving here… don’t.

This is a very nice place however when you get paid on Fridays and they expect rent on the first of the month which can fall on any day it's bullcrap when you pay your rent one day late and they charge you 50$ late fee for one day even though you have explained to them multiple times u get paid biweekly on Fridays and sometimes may be a day or two late but have never missed a payment
Aside from this I've had no bad experiences the maintenance man definitely keeps up on things and does his job well nothing against Shelly either however just wish the late fee weren't so damn much.

So happy with my new place here at brookestone ! Everything is perfect! Haven’t had 1 problem thank you guys for getting me in here!

Moving out very soon, bought a home. Not a horrible place to live. I do agree with some of these other posts tho. One thing I'll say is I've lost a lot of money to the washers and dryers. But feels more like a place for young couples or bachelors to live. Just not practical for families with kids. Good luck to everyone

It gets up to 80 degrees up on the top floor. We turn our AC on and set it to 65. T65.crappy AC units freeze up and our AC gets turned off by maintenance. Instead of fixing or upgrading the AC units they turn it off so we can burn on the third floor and blame us for freezing the ancient AC units. They told us not to go under 65. This weekend they put a note on our thermostat not to go under 70. The note didn't say they turned it off for the weekend. Rent Price is good but we should be able to rest from work comfortably. Our AC unit isn't the only one that has froze up. Maybe its time for an upgrade

I have a friend who moved into Brookstone a couple of months ago. I am totally amazed at how nice this place is! A couple of years ago another friend lived there and it was awful! The management and maintenance that has been there since the new company bought the property is awesome! Everything is new and things get done really fast! They are really nice and seem like they really care about the people that live there! I am thinking about moving in a couple of months and if I do, Brookstone will be the place!

So far it's a great place to live. Shelly is awesome, really cares about getting you an apartment you can afford. I work 2nd shift and most others in my building work 1st, so it's always quiet. Laundry room is clean and the maintenance guy is efficient. Completely renovated the entire property so it's miles away from where it was a few years ago.
