The Washington Karate Association - Ballard Dojo is the first Washington Karate Association school established by Hanshi Julius Thiry. Today, conveniently located in the heart of Greenwood, the Washington Karate Ballard Dojo is situated along several major bus routes and remains the benchmark for excellence in traditional Hayashi-ha Shito Ryu karate in Seattle.
Now offering online karate classes! Appropriate for all levels, adults, and children ages 6 and up. The standard Karate program has been our core program since 1966. Beginners through advanced levels may participate in all classes except for those requiring instructor permission. New online karate classes!
