My family has been getting haircuts for years at Salon 1500 and we've had a terrific experience. For a few years now Justin has cut hair for all of us, including or two teenagers, a young ma and young woman. He knows exactly what to do, gives great advice, and delivers fantastic haircuts.
I never know what I want other than something that looks professional, is interesting, and easy to maintain (I do practically nothing to my hair). Justin always does a great cut that looks fantastic.
My teenagers will only go to him and h really does a great job. Justin also has a great personality

I cannot recommend Heather at Salon 1500 highly enough! She did both my color and cut prior to my wedding this fall, and she nailed it. I came in with some pictures and ideas as to what I wanted, and she listened and asked great questions to ensure she understood me. She gave me warm, face-framing highlights and great layers that very much upgraded my grown-out quarantine hair. I loved my cut so much, that I scheduled my husband-to-be a haircut with her before our wedding too! Not only did she give a him a great cut, but she also showed him how to style it himself. I very rarely comment on yelp reviews, but this time I have to say thank you to hairstylist Cindy Le. for the first time, I bleached my hair without any damage or dryness like other places did. I went to Tiffany with a last minute request to change my red into something new and "more red". My experience with her was that she was thoughtful, careful, and very good. She transformed my color and improved my cut, taking all my requests of style, color and my hair needs into account. She is new, and less tested then many others at salon 1500 but she is great!

I'm loving my new haircut from Tiffany! She did an awesome job on my wavy long hair. She made sure she understood how I like to style it so she could cut it in the right way. I'm lazy and don't do anything after washing my hair, so she added some texture so it'll curl more naturally without effort. I'd definitely recommend her!

Very nice hair salon! Clean and everyone is friendly. Cindy did a great job with my hair highlight and cut, I love it. It is my first time having my hair highlight. She listened to what I want and consulted me with the style, color and haircare. She also offered if I am not happy with the color I can always come back so she can adjust it. I like my hair a lot so I didn't change anything; and I really appreciate it as sometime we just need more time to get used to the new color and check in how we feel with the new hair I definitely come back to have it curled for style in the holidays. I've always stuck to the blonde highlights the entire time but this time I wanted something a little different, showed her a pic and she did her thing and I love it. I've gone to a single hairdresser for the last 15-20 years of my life and haven't veered other than being out of town or in emergencies when she wasn't available. Salon 1500 is so great!! Even though it was street parking it was pretty easy to find parking and don't have to worry about the meters. Inside is clean and has a cute minimalist design. Cindy Le was amazing! She really listened to what I wanted for cut and color and exceeded my expectations. Love how it turned out!

Heather did my hair and my sister's hair for my September 2021 wedding and it was amazing! I was so grateful to Heather because we ended up booking her last minute (only one month away). I was convinced I would do my own hair for my wedding but I am SO GLAD I trusted Heather with this. She took so much stress away and I was able to have an amazing day!

I don't want to name my stylist because that seems like an uncool thing to do, but my bangs weren't sectioned off properly and now are uneven. I didn't notice that detail until I fixed my hair myself at home. They said I could come back for a touch up, so long as it was within a week's time, but I don't trust them now. But besides the low quality haircut , the salon wasn't clean. It wasn't that each stylists' station was messy, but there was actual grime all over the salon. Like the place needs to be closed for a day and a thorough scrub down needs to occur

Emerline has been cutting my hair for 3+ years & always does an amazing job. She's one of the few people I've found in life who can adequately thin & shape my thick hair. She's super conscientious & a perfectionist, so I always feel more than pleased with the end result. Plus her prices are very reasonable for the Bay Area!

My first haircut out of the quarantine!!! I booked my HC appointment with Emerline, I found her on here and ppl were raving about her haircut. I believe them, Emerline was an amazing cutting my hair. I'm typically very picky about my haircut, I can confidently say that I'm really loving my haircut!! Emerline bought dimensions, layers back to my hairstyle.

I randomly decided to get my hair transformed and was a bit nervous to meet a NEW stylist. Rite away Katrina was amazing ! Super friendly with a great vibe. I shower her photos of what I wanted my hair to look like and she Provided me with honest feedback in regards to the process it would take to eventually get my hair with the highlights I wanted, I personally really appreciated her transparency and made the process so much smoother my hair came out looking feeling and smelling amazing!

This is my hometown salon and I love it! Everyone is so friendly and it's very clean and bright. Justin Lorenz is my guy and he really takes pride in his work. I really look forward to getting my cuts from him. He knows my face and how to frame it correctly. I trust him so much because he genuinely loves his profession and treats it as an art form.
