Unbridled Martial Arts fills a void in the martial arts community of Bellingham & Whatcom County. It provides a solid, sensible, broad based foundation in martial training at an unbelievably affordable price. Well, the name is not a description for some WILD form of "unrestrained" fighting. It accurately describes UMA's attitude and approach to training: that nothing should hold you back.

There are no imposed boundaries to our study of the arts. You are free from restrictions. The only one that will hold you back from excelling in your martial studies will be yourself. While many Martial Arts schools in general have to cater to the commercial needs of sustaining a full-time school, Unbridled Martial Arts, by design has little overhead.
Services
1st Degree Blackbelt in Shito-Ryu Karate granted by Dr. Julius Thiry (President of USA National Karate Federation and founder of Washington Karate Association). 2nd Degree Blackbelt granted by Kenzo Mabuni (youngest son of Kenwa Mabuni, the founder of Shito-Ryu Karate-Do). 5th Degree Blackbelt granted by the Filipino Martial Arts Association / Eastern Arts Alliance under 9th Degree GM Instructor Tom Weissmuller.
The great thing about our hanging bags is we have a custom-engineered pulley system allowing us to move them when not in use. This optimizes our training space to the fullest. Our facility has over 1600 square feet of unobstructed floor space and 28 ft. Thai pads, focus mitts, kickboxing gloves & shin guards, jump ropes, dull safety-training knives, foam sticks, rattan escrima sticks, and protective eyewear.
The great thing about working with Rob is that he is willing to integrate many different forms of martial arts into class, which makes each class as interesting as the class before. Every day we learn something new on top of getting an excellent workout.

I was nervous when I first started class, as I had no prior training in any form of fighting or martial arts, but everyone in class was extremely helpful and Rob is always there to make sure you understand what is going on and how to do things properly.
Here are some common questions students ask about our school and studying martial arts in general. Aren't you doing a disservice neglecting some of these vital cultural traits inherent in martial arts practice? Aside from the physical skills, what is the one main attribute you want people to learn from training?
I pride myself on my ability to teach anyone and everyone the pleasures of Martial Arts training-in essence, how to put the mind into the body and strengthen both simultaneously. Tired of the monotony of the treadmill at the gym, I decided to attend a kickboxing class, Unbridled Martial Arts, taught by Rob Eis.

Excellent instruction, check out their website, as it will have the correct address: http://www.unbridledmartialarts.com/

Great instruction on effective techniques. Rob is a great guy, very personable and teaches the most useful things he has found in his years of experience in a variety of styles. Love it here! Also incredibly cheap in comparison to other studios:

Cheapest place, best teaching, great workout, practical method. Awesome place!
