I can't answer to the bad reviews, but my mother in law was in 2 nursing facilities that make Sanctuary Pointe look like the Taj Mahal. I have been so impressed with absolutely everything and everyone at this nursing facility. Please, if you are looking for a great place for a loved one take the time to visit and see for yourself. Don't rely on negative reviews.

If I had a choice I would never put someone you love here. My grams was on her way out and they couldn’t even come every two hours to give her her comfort meds nor did they bother to turn her family had to. My grams struggled for well over two hours before they finally came in and gave her meds. Shortly after she passed. Point is she shouldn’t have struggled period!!

Today I received a bill from them for $1100 for non covered serivces which i assume is for my dads weekend stay. He was supposed to come home the weekend of the 4th they stated to me he said he wanted to stay he disagreed.... pls be engaged with staff but they will always fight you when you challenge them. Insurance okayed 20 days of rehab and if they meant to do the right thing it would have been 20 days

My father in law spent approximately 2 years in the memory care unit at Sanctuary Pointe.
The care that he received was amazing. It takes a special person or people to deal with alzheimers patients and I could not have found a better facility to care for my father in law. Thank you Sanctuary Pointe for your caring staff and for being there for my father in law.

I went to visit with my brother who is recovering from triple bypass surgery. During our conversation an employee was cleaning right next to where we were speaking so I asked her if we could have some privacy. She said "no, I cannot leave the room." I didn't want to upset my brother so I did not cause a scene but after my frustration built up I decided I had to complain. I was told their patients are denied privacy on a case by case situation and we were not left alone in case he fell out of his chair. I am a fully functioning adult who is perfectly capable of getting a nurse if necessary. My brother

My mother has been in this rehab facility and her experience has been miserable. 7pm comes and everyone just drops off the face of the earth. She was taken off of antibiotics from the hospital and developed an infection. Given food she's not supposed to eat and treated like she is a burden half the time. More often than not she's just left in misery with no one to turn to.. Some nurses have been good to her as well as pt but others are not so hospitable. Please for the love of God change this.

We moved my handicapped brother to Sanctuary Pointe 6 months ago despondent, not eating, continuing to lose weight and requiring an extraordinary amount of care which was not able to be provided at his previous residence where he had been given excellent care.
The staff have been amazing and attentive to his needs. The staff went out of their way to find ways to get him to eat. To date his weight has improved and he is more alert and able to interact with us.
The staff are very friendly, caring and compassionate!! Thank you.

I had care at this facility for both myself and my mother-in-law. Facility is new and clean. Staff was really friendly and the care was exceptional. From the time I first reached out until I left I had nothing less than a wonderful experience. My Mother-in-law had the same experience with her stay here. I recommend this for anyone with nursing home/therapy needs! Thank you Sanctuary Pointe Staff!!

I would like to share my Mothers story. The short version is she was at a different facility and my Mother walked outside in the middle of winter and became confused and developed frost bite and lost her finger tips. My brother and I removed her from that unnamed facility (very distraught). The search was on for a true secure and safe home for our Mother with Alzheimers and a touch of Dementia. This search went on for weeks. I walked into Sanctuary Pointe and my Mothers life changed. I met with Lisa and she was so understanding and listened to our story and gave my brother and I a tour explaining

After our dads back surgery in the hospital we were told he had to go to a nursing home for rehabilitation. With very little time to decide where to go we chose Sanctuary Pointe that the social worker had recommended. And now I highly recommend the facility to anyone; it is an amazing place.
As a daughter I always felt welcome, throughout a difficult time the staff always showed me kindness and support.
The rooms were very clean and spacious with plenty of storage and nice big windows.
The Doctors, Nurses and Aids were compassionate, courteous, caring, professional and available 24/7. The food
