Photography is about giving you a way to see (and remember) the moments that define your relationship - right now. It's about capturing your life in its current state. As a mother, I am often the one behind the camera and left out of the frame. Lisa was able to beautifully capture the simple moments of a pretty typical weekend with my family. Hi, I'm Lisa, nice to meet you. I'm an award winning family documentary photographer whose lived in the Bay Area for almost 20 years. I have two children and a husband. I like them most of the time. One of my core values is living. What does that mean? I will choose experiences over material possessions any day of the week.
I know how stressful that "annual family photo session" can be. Planning outfits, getting hair done, attempting to get everyone on board, trying to figure out what bribe will work best but not get anyone dirty. What if all you had to do was open the door for me in the morning? And I proceeded to spend the day, just a regular day, with your family, as you are right now?
What if you had a personal photographer who could document all of your special and every day moments over the course of the year? And then at the end of the year you get a beautiful album that highlights all of your most important memories? What if you could actually be in these photos, vs. being behind the camera?
This is how we typically remember that we were also part of the annual family vacation, right?. I know what it's like to gingerly hand over your camera to a stranger and be rewarded with one blurry family image that also includes a large thumb, and Dad's eyes are half closed. And that's the one you end up sharing everywhere online, as well as hang on the wall, because, well, it's the only one with the entire family in it.

Lisa took photos at our Fundraising and Awareness Walk and they came out better than we ever hoped for! We often have "novice" photographers snapping iPhone pics, but these are professional quality that truly capture the mood and essence of the subjects. And...Lisa is so easy to work with and very flexible! I'd use her for every event if I can!

Lisa did a large group and individual family photo sessions for myself and my closest girlfriends. She was amazing! We were able to get group photos of all of us with our families and also some of just us and our individual families. Lisa did a great job of capturing our personalities and it was the first time my kids didn't complain afterward! We received our photos in record time and were extremely happy with the results.

Well...I can say with the utmost confidence that I am a tough customer. Be it not getting the right discount on an item, or poor service at a restaurant, I will relay my dissatisfaction when I am a consumer (either to the person or on the inter-webs)

We really had no family pictures since we became a family of four in 2018. We worked with Lisa, she helped me pick a great location and time. We took our pictures in Jan 2019. Lisa is very friendly, calm and relaxed. And I think her relaxed photography style, is what was passed on to my kids which allowed for a successful photo shoot. My 4 year old basically very quickly wanted Lisa to take pictures of everything she was doing and to forget the rest of us... We ultimately ended up with lots of great family pictures but also great pictures of the kids individually and of them playing together. Every

Lisa is an amazing photographer and she was a joy to work with. She did an incredible job of making my whole family feel comfortable with the camera (including my 3 young boys) and she wasn't at all invasive. We were able to truly enjoy our day exploring San Francisco without feeling like we were being documented. Her photos are hands down the best we have of our family and we will treasure them forever.

We are so excited about our photoshoot with Lisa Winner that we absolutely have to share! My husband and I are first-time parents, and so there have been a lot of great firsts. But taking our toddler to San Francisco for the first time was particularly special to us since it is one of our favorite spots, and having Lisa there to capture these precious moments was freaking incredible! First off, it was a super fun day. We loved Lisa and we LOVE the images!! She had a chill and fun attitude that made touring around the city with her effortless and fun. We had so much fun that we did not even notice
